Needs some help finalizing my NO BAKE low carb protein bars. Taste is amazing.
Used:
2 Tbls Natty Almond Butter
3 TBLS Sugar Free Almond Milk
1 Scoop of PES Select blend Choc-Peanutbutter
1 Tbls Swerve (erythritol/my fav tasting SF sweetener)
1) In a bowl, I first mixed the protein powder and almond milk into a paste.
2) I then nuked the almond butter for 30 seconds just to make it easy to mix. It does help.
3) Then added these remaining ingredients and formed it into a bar shape.
It's so dang good "as is". Lol. Resist the temptation and make it into a bar.
I refrigerated for 6 hours and boom - a yummy bar that blows quest bar taste out of the water IMO. No fake, synthetic protein bar taste.
The problem is that I need help tweaking this into a "better formed" bar. Mine is gooey (although refrigeration helps immensely).
