High E2, High Progesterone, Low SHBG, need advice from experts!

Then ask HAN.
Dr. John said to get HAN to have a look into it too. HAN you are hardasnails right? Can you please have a look?:)

ericrin23, ive been posting on here a while and i have to say, your story is what i have been experiencing over the past 2-3 yrs, only i never could get the detail you did. ive been on 150mg testosterone cyp every ten days and synthroid 100mcg every day for over 2yrs. i have felt better but recently my shbg has gotten even lower and my doc is now decreasing my test cyp shots because i have to much free testosterone. i still dont think im being treated right, and am still frustrated by lack of ideas from my endocrinologists.

I was on sustanon for a while, it did make me feel wonderful and everything, but when i stopped, it was just as bad as before. I dont think T injections is the right treatment. I still think there is a fundemental cause of all these and there just be way of finding out what it is. Regarding your synthroid- is that just T4? have you ever tried amour thyroid? it is a lot better than T3 alone or T4 alone. I totally think my low SHBG might have been a result of all those T shots. How are you feeling temperature wise? I still have trouble keeping a steady temperature. I would feel cold quickly if im in a cold environment and get really hot if i suddenly move into the sun, and I have to start taking layers of clothing off. It is ALOT better now with the armour thyroid, but its no where near perfect. If the weather is cold, I still get cold feet at times. How are you feeling adrenal wise?

regarding temp, it can be freezing outside and i feel hot. and when very hot, i will get cold chills for no reasoon. my dhea-s test were below the normal range and since supplementing with dhea, im now above the range.all my cortisol test are in the low range as is acth. never really felt the effects of the synthroid, and my endo doesnt use armour. like you im not comfortable with t shots for my treatment, but as of now it is all i have. and like i said eairler, since my free test was so high, he is now lowering my t injects to 100mg every ten days, which im not thrilled about. have been contemplating going off the t shots doing a cycle clomid and taking a couple month break and retest everything and stat all over.

I too get the cold while hot, hot while cold sydrome too. I totally think its adrenal related. Its a lot better now after going on armour and HC though. You cant convice your endo to try armour? I use to be on T3 slow release and it was crap so I ask my doc and armour and he said sure thing, we'll test it out. I'm interested to know how clomid/nolva will help, since I have a pack of nolva that I never dared to use.

well, the nolva would help keep estrogen in check right after going off testosterone shots and the clomid is supposed to get your natural production going. need to get a copy of my last thyroid test, because im pretty sure there not optimal. as far as me thinking i have adrenal issues, i do accept that better than just hypothyroid/gonadism.

how are your cortisol, acth, dhea levels now??
to be honest, I dont really know. I had a saliva test a long way back last year with cortisol and dhea, and more recently a cortisol via 24hr urine, and that seemed ok. As cortisol vary so much day to day a blood test would be quite useless. I never had acth tested. It has been a while since I got those tested, but I certainly do feel better than before. Saliva test was b*tch expensive so I wont be doing one any time soon.
