Has anyone experienced shutdown from DHEA?

I started taking dhea, but after about 3 weeks i stopped taking it because my sex drive diminished and my erections got weak. Any advice?

If you haven't had a blood test, my first guess is your Estrogen is high.

I was thinking that. I have to wait until January 1st to get my blood test done. I was scared to take something to bring my estrogen without knowing for sure and my me up more. I was think of trying some letrone very slowly.

Yeah....

I know that guys can get different reactions from DHEA, and some guys like to run it with TRT....

But I keep a (rarely used) bottle for One purpose:
To raise my Estrogen.

Gotcha. So in your experience it definitely has raised your estrogen?

Any time brother!

Yeah, I have other ways to raise my Estrogen if I ever need to (which is rare). But DHEA is the only item that I have for only that specific purpose.

Im pretty convinced at this point the dhea definitely raised my estrogen then. I'm doubtful it crashed my test. And since dhea is known to raise estro it probably did that anyway.
 
only problem i ever had with dhea was headaches if i went around or above 100mg a day from what i can remember. everything else was a positive benefit. sweet spot seemed to be 50-75mg a day. no effect on libido/erections

I just started running Dermacrine with TRT. 10 days ago. So far I’m happy
 
Didnt experience shut down but did feel the effects of high E after about 3 week point. Easy anti e and cessation would be the route I'd take.
 
Anything over 25 mg. per day of oral would make me feel off and give me sides after awhile. I tried the micronized lozenges thinking that would help and that made me feel absolutely terrible.

I've been using the XPG DHEA-50 Gel since it came out and zero sides, which is the advantage of td DHEA.

I use 1 ml in the morning and that's it and its part of my general health routine.
