Hard viens in scrotum after varicocele surgery.

I've undergone a bilateral varicocelectomy. It was done by making two incisions in the abdomen.

A week after the operation I noticed two hard veins, one on the left side of the scrotum and one at the base on the left side (I feel mild pain here).

I am really devastated by this.

What could it be? Should I be worried?

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this for me.

Suggest you speak to the Dr who did the procedure.
