AAS is something that would have never contemplated 10 years ago but now the curiosity has got the better of me. As we all know this subject is something that should be respected and thoroughly studied before even contemplating, I now feel I am ready. I have read this board for a little while now and I like the feet on the ground sensible non gung ho approach to this subject that members of this board follow and therefore place my trust firmly at your revered feet (insert kissing ass icon here).

Im looking for help with my first cycle, Let me just say that I am not looking to get major size. I am 5ft 8inches and weigh 177lbs I respond well to heavy training a good diet, protein and Glutamine...so why I here you ask do you wanna try the gear. Well Im 35 now and I feel that I could do with a little help, metabolism has slowed a little and its a little harder to keep the fat at bay! I must admit Im not a body builder but I box and do the odd MMA training and as you know the speed slows as the bones get older.

I seem to be leading towards a cycle of Equipoise/Boldenone. I have read that is used primarily as a cutting drug but can be used for a little lean mass gain (I believe the appetite is raised + good clean calories = some lean mass gain) while stripping fat. Another factor is that I dont want to stack this with any high androgenic drug as I would like to keep the hair on my head so I would be using this drug alone.

Also as this drug does not aromatise quickly would I need PCT?

However this is only the opinion I have come to by purely reading and now I would like to know if I am heading in the right direction or whether Im totally off course.

To summarise I would say a little lean gains while stripping some fat and keeping my hair (damn vanity)!

You can expect some decent keepable gains. As for stripping fat = diet + cardio.
You can do it solo at 300-400mg/week for 12-16 weeks.Should do PCT. Might need Nolva if sensitive to gyno.If you have been losing hair expect it to speed up a bit.
 
have you ever thought about doing a low dose of test? it might make you feel a few years younger put that spring back in your step (and some where else) and acomplish your goals

Keepable gains is something Im definatley interested in so this still looks like a goer (thanks for the amount and cycle length), not sure if Im succeptable to Gyno..dont have it now as Im still pretty lean but I guess PCT should be part of every cycle right?

My cardio is off the box as I box three times a week and lift the other four, guess my diet could do with a little work but it all gets a little to scientific for me at times lol, I just thought a little more lean mass might speed up mi metabolism again as cardio only burns calories while your actually training as Im led to believe.

I have a full head of hair at 35 and I should'nt really worry about it but I look a total spanner with a shaved head, so a little worried about the hair business side of things, are there any aas that are kind to the follicle?

:rofl: I actually feel pretty good for my age at the minute feeling more like 21 than 35 and cant believe where the time has gone to be honest, I still play tents every morning and my girl is sick and tired of my offers for a little bedroom jousting...so my spring is definatly still there but I might try a low test dose.
Would it give me Im looking for? and how low compared to a normal dose?

Sorry for the questions but even tho Im oldschool im still a newbie aaahhhhh!
