Boxer's Fracture recovery

Suffered a boxer's fracture a few weeks ago and Im about to get my cast off. After a week I got my original cast off and just from after 7 days I saw horrific atrophy in my hand, wrist, and forearm. I can only imagine how bad its going to be after another 4 weeks (which is now, getting the cast off at the end of the week).

Ive been training legs twice a week with calves/abs/ and cardio in between. Making some great progression, but not training anything upper body due to the inability to use my right hand to push or pull. Really didnt want to risk more damage.

What im looking for is some advise on light training once i get back to the gym. If anyone has any knowledge Id appreciate it.

How long until I can start lifting again once i get my cast off? Right away, days, weeks?
Clearly first thing i need to do is build up strength back in my wrist and forearm, stretching and gripping excersises
