Basic Cissus Rx questions

Hello,

I just ordered another bottle of Cissus from Nutraplanet.

I have some questions, but I was not successful at finding the answers in a search.

Answers are welcomed from anyone at USPLabs and experienced users!

1) I am pretty sure that two caps in the AM after waking and two around lunch is the proposed scheme. Do the doses need to be on an empty stomach?

2) Would Cissus help with DOMS from really heavy workouts?

3) Any issues with taking Cissus at night if an earlier dose is missed?

4) Any latest contraindications or ways to maximize the benefits? (like taking with fatty meals, etc) Is use with AAS common?

5) How important is it to take Cissus routinely? I don't suffer from chronic pain - but sometimes I do have short term injuries. Can I take it a few days here and a few days there and get most of the benefit?

Thanks, and congrats to USPLabs for getting the product out of the door again!

R

Good questions. I'm especially interested in #3 because I work nights and go to the gym after work. I go to sleep pretty quick after that and I can't afford to have anything keep me awake. Hopefully someone will have some input on this in a day or two.

1) take on an empty stomach yes

2) not sure if it would help with doms, didnt seem to for me, although definatley does help heal injuries, worked wonders on my shoulder.

3) cissus wont keep you awake, if anything may help with sleep, although powerfull is the thing to get to aid sleep.

4) the other USP products stackwell, look for logs, works well with Camp powerfull C2 etc
Use on AAS would be benifical to help protect tendons when experiencing rapid strength gains.

5) there is some analgesic effect but the healing properties take longer to work, took about 2 weeks for me (which is not long at all really! and saw improvement after just one week). The longer you use it the better its effects seem to be, certainly in regard to its anabolic/recomp effects.

Awesome product, part of my staples from now on!

Thanks for the reply 200!

I am a bit nervous about powerfull....too many weird possibilities with that stuff.

On the other hand, I get "pumps" from Cissus Rx. This is reproducable for me... no wonder that one guy had it tested at a lab for andro.

Any other observations from folks?

Are you guys doing 4 caps / day?

What "weird" possibilites are you talking about? I'm on my 4th bottle of Powerfull, nothing "weird" happening.

As to Cissus, I'm doing 2 caps 3x a day. 4 will work for healing but you need 6-8 to get the real benfits.:woohoo:

Well, the report or two of gyno didn't bother me, but several reports of sore throats did.

Could be allergies to the active or something.

I figure I know more about the "legal" supps that are on the market now, and they are better understood than what is in Powerfull.

I may be wrong - I have not done too much research on Muira Puama - I know that Cissus has been used for centuries, for example, although not with these kind of extract ratios.

Do a search, bro...there are dozens of people that would defend their bottle of Cissus Rx with their lives.

At 4 caps a day, the analgesic effects of Cissus-Rx were almost immediate, at least for me. The tendon-healing properties began after 2-3 weeks- I had achilles tendonitis for 1.5 years before I started taking cissus-rx. The tendonitis healed completely in the 5 weeks after I started the cissus, even on an intensive training regimen (plylos, sprinting, deads, heavy squats, lots of bounding and jumping and agilities). As far as "bodybuilding" type effects, I really noticed a pump, increased reps, and a pronounced decrease in soreness on 8 caps a day- Cissus is definitely a very versatile product

please keep in mind that cissusRX is NOT something that will kill the pain.. if you want something to do that for the next few hours.. take some advil etc... Cissus has helped many people over time to thus even promote healing of the problem area and may do the same for you.... i would venture to say, give yourself a good 3 bottle run of it and evaluate yourself from there...

Actually Cissus has analgesic effect specific to the injury which is remarkable.

My theory is Cissus blocks prostaglandin formation(that stops inflamation and pain) and cortisol almost immediately providing a pain free enviroment to heal.

But, This is user specific as with maynard. He does not get the analgesic effect but it does eventually kill pain by healing the injury.

We will continue to research Cissus.

The Cissus came out at the perfect time! I now have tendonitis so bad in my left forearm that my hand has a numbness in it.... I've been on it now 4 a day for the last 3 days. I'm thinking of bumping up to 6 a day for the next couple of weeks to see what happens..

how important is it to take cissus on an empty stomach? I workout first thing in the morning. I have a shake and then go to the gym 30-45min later

its not, take it with your shake.

here's another Cissus question:

I have some pretty bad tendonitis in the forearm.. Killing me!!!

I'm popping about 800mg Ibuprofin 3x a day. Would taking 2 caps cissus 3x a day help, or should I stay away from the IB while in the cissus? What about taking those w/ the Omega Flex Support supplement? That has celadrin in it?

Thanks!

Oh, I definitely know the cissus is working. My shoulders feel great!!!! :head:

.How would you recommend dosing cissus rx with camphibolic what time of day, together, apart ect for maximum benefits thanks for your help?

Torn Tendon

I have a torn tendon in my right elbow (medial epicondylitis) that I have been dealing with for about 2 years now.

Last couple of months I started doing prolotherapy on it and I think I'm almost healed (and hopefully will be back to the weights soon)

Does anyone else who has tried this have or have had an actual tear. Would like to see if it will help with my condition.

thanks

Give it a shot and report back!

I want to mention something that just happened in the gym. I was able to do a back workout without the traditional elbow pain that I have been having for the last couple of years. I was shocked and am still a little skeptical but Cissus is the only thing I have added to my supplement list.

I have not been able to do a pull up, pull downs with any substantial weight and even curls were a problem. It was almost kind of weird that it didn’t hurt.

So far I am impressed.
