Geez... Seems a little disappointing. I think you looked better precomp. It looks like you used Dream Tan. Really spotty work on the face and you can tell you didn't have a lot of help on the back. Damn, kinda looked a little washed out on stage, too bad. What do you feel about it?
 
Wow, really surprised at the difference from 3 days prior....but don't fret Aaron, you still have another show coming up to redeem this outing and consider this a learning experience. We only learn from our mistakes. Best of luck at your next outing.

No bro, I don't mind... I made mistakes in the carb-up and got my butt beat into the sand. IT WAS AWESOME, I love getting man handled, makes me work harder.​

THIS weekend, no more fancy 'tricks' or 'mistakes,' that's just gay. I'm going to land this plane like I have looked in my progress pics for the last month! GEEZ... I can't believe I fell victim to the VERY THING I always advise NOT to do.

Oh well, life goes on. Much more important things than flexing for a trophy... but I always do the best I can.

Just one my friend... a huge job opportunity/interview in West USA this month, and also other personal considerations have relegated me down to one last showdown.

I'm going to be on stage Saturday in Columbus, at the Mike Francois... and then I'll never be on stage again. I just love the sport for the ways it improves my life and gives me something to strive for... but dieting and going through the ringer is NOT for me, and not worth it in my humble opinion, as an uncompensated amateur.

Wish me luck... then SUNDAY I'LL BE BASKING IN THE SUN AT CEDAR POINT with my girl at her after-prom party.

I applied the tan far too early...

I more than quadrupled my carb intake, which was plain ignorant

I didn't apply oil correctly

I ate junky obese lard foods

I made myself so sick I spent all night on the toilette in cold sweats

....... But, I know what I did wrong, and since the show this weekend on the 12th will be the last of my life, I'll simply enjoy myself, and finally NOT over think it! Just KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!!!!

Hey man, tell us the secret, how do you do it right? When did you apply tan?
 
Also wondering how you're going to work out shows back to back with water and carbs? My first is this weekend and second next. I have a plan but any suggestions that may help would be great.

Don't worry bro, Just follow your plan as you see it. I hope you rock it.

Also, it wasn't dream tan (I am not sure what aaron did) but dream tan doesnt run like that. My guess is he applied oil to pro tan on his face.

The standard option is 2 coats of pro tan weds, shower, 2 on thursday, shower and then 2 on friday- no rinse. Then on saturday morning apply a Light coat of dream tan #1 45 mins prior to stage and then as you pump up 5 mins before going on, apply a VERY light drop or two of oil on body to finish. A drop or 2 in palm for whole body!!

Best color ever. As for those who say the NPC hates dream tan, this is true. But Applied right they never know and always ask "what the hell did you do for your color, it looks amazing!!"...got it all the time.

I worked with Eric Broser, pioneer of the P/RR/S training system and contributing writing for IronMan Magazine and co-author of Building the Perfect Beast Naturally.

He advised that I have a big breakfast, and eat carbs every hour... by the time the show came, I looked like a water buffalo! Haha! Oh well..... live and learn.

Basically, I applied Pro Tan beginning Wednesday... but never showered, ewe right? haha!

But, the day of the show, I applied pro tan to my face before shaving, because I was rushing. So, like I said, so many UN NEEDED and ODD mistakes were made that I knew better!

But, my face running was because I was pumping up very hard, simply because I was so nervous and in the dumps about all the carbs I ate, and I knew after so many months of planning and work, it was all for nothing. I was sweating like a bandit!
