I haven't been on much lately, but I have noticed quite a bit more traffic in the dermal area. Not the dermal expert by any means, but I have tried all the dermals on the market and will make alittle review about them.
1.) Dermabolics Transport Matrix - This was my first dermal that I ever tried. Most remember the 4Derm/Big One combo, well that was me. Spray bottle can be a ***** to work sometimes, but I never had much problems with getting clogged. As far as absorption and overall ease of use.... it was pretty good. You have to let it dry and it does give you a smell of lemon/alcohol for alittle while.. I would stand in front of a fan so it would dry faster. Its really cheap and easy to work with (just drop the powder in). For a premade dermal, I still believe there are better options.
2.) Penetrate - Found at our board sponsor Nutraplanet. As far as the bottle, I didn't like the squirter that came on it. While not as easy to clog, it doesn't spray out in a fine mist like the Dermabolics matrix does. Everything just comes out in the squirt, so you have to be careful that it doesn't splash off your hands and onto the floor. I cupped my hands so it wouldn't splash out. Mixing is very easy. Grind powder very fine, heat penetrate mix slowly. Penetrate is very cheap however, and gives you alot of liquid so you will be able to use a good deal of hormone with it.
3.) T-Gel - As yes, my favorite pre-made dermal. Not a liquid, more of a white goo (lotion if you will). Found at board sponsor Custom Nutrition Warehouse and made by BDC. The only think I do not like about T-Gel is the short neck on the bottle. Makes mixing alittle bit difficult. I did find that by dropping a marble into the bottle made mixing much more efficiently. This is the closest you will come to having a "gel" for your particular hormone. Absorption is very good and easy to apply. It also dries very quickly and smells like lemons
No splashing or worrying about it leaking out of your hand when applied, as it goes on like a thick lotion.
4.) Phlojel - When it comes to dermals, this is what I would consider to be the best but the most headache. I actually found it was very easy by following the instructions on the website, but this is my sentiment... DO NOT GO ABOVE 100mg/ml. The instructions only go to 125mg/ml on the pdf that I downloaded (apparently there are more instructions but I am not seeing them). In order to get 150mg/ml or 200mg/ml (the best bang for your buck) you need to use a solvent. And my God I must be terrible at using solvents because yes I would grind my powder into very fine granules, add solvent and the **** would just turn into a extremely hard paste that would break up and become blocks (I used Iso and PEG 400). I wasted alot of hormone/phlojel in this process. If you can do this, then hats off to you but for beginners, don't think about going over 100mg/ml. Stick with that and it works great. Absorption is very good. Downsides.. order comes from Canada and it took me 1/2 month to get it (disclaimer is on site 10-12 business days which is what it took for me to get the product). If you are in a pinch, better go with one of the alcohol based dermals, but phlojel is superior IMO for absorption, skin quality and application size (do not need as much area to apply because it can hold higher concentrations.
If I had one last dermal to choose from, I would choose Phlojel but let me say that it takes extra work and patience. If you have a high strung/easily pissed/short ass fuse (yours truly) then it might not be for you especially if you are compounding at very high mg/ml's. Phlojel plus a after spray (BDC's recipe) would probably be the best route to clean up any of the actives that the phlo didn't get through the skin, but at 100mg/ml I recommend Phlo. Hope this helps and I felt like since there is alot more interest/traffic in the dermal section that someone will read and enjoy. These are my thoughts, and will be willing to discuss.
