I got the unflavored, I add flavorings separatly. What I noticed was that it didn't seem to want to mix up very well. Put it in a shaker cup (the kind with the little spring ball in it) with 12 oz. skim milk and shook it up.... several times. It stayed kinda chunky. In fact, i had to add water to it as I got closer to the end of the shake.

Is this just the nature of casien?

Yeah, most caseins are a pain when mixed with milk, it will mix a lot easier with the same amount of water, but to get a real smooth easy mixing you got to up your liquid component a little bit compared to whey. Just a little FYI though, if you want to make a pudding, casein based proteins are the way to go. Also I usually find that if i put in half my water then the protein, then the blender ball, then more water and shake it mixes easier.

Thanks for the info. I'll try it with water tonight.

I've made protein pudding with sugar free pudding and unflavored whey. Same thing??

With the casein you dont need the pudding mix, just 1 scoop casein with ~4 ounces water give or take a little

I tried to mix MPI with a spoon the first time and it was a big pain. Now I add a cpl of tblspoons of cottage cheese, milk, pineapple and casein in a blender and it mixes really well. Also found ON's casein is much much easier to mix than ATW's MPI.
