I always read/been told to lower the weight down to your fore-head (or your skull) and then while keeping your elbows in, lower the weight up and down. This is why they are called skullcrushers.
I curl in the squat rack... So shoot me. (But I go heavy).
1.- The guy with aweful form with a **** ton of weight grunting and yelling. Then gets done with his set and acts like he's the man.
2.- People that walk right infront of me when I'm strapping up/getting my head right for a set of deads.
If your looking for size sandwiches aren't going to cut it. Chicken, Tuna, Penut Butter, and all that good stuff will get you thick if you eat them in quantities.
At our age (I'm 18 too) Our metabolism's are going crazy so we need to constantly pound them with calories/protein.
For years I used to work out with gloves because I felt like they gave me a better grip on the bar because of the fact that they kept my hands dryer.
But recently, about 2-3 weeks ago, I stopped using them and I love the feeling now. Gets the hands scarred up a bit but thats not big deal to...
In my experience, as far as upright rows go, I feel the traps working most when you look up just a tad and when bringing the bar up to your chin. Also following the contor of your body and keep the bar close to you as you pull the weight up. (And keep your chest blown up)
I usually pyramid up. On every exercise I go 4 sets.
1st= 12 reps
2nd= 12 reps
3rd= 10 reps
4th= 6-8 reps
I eat a lot of eggs, chicken, beef, and rice. Along with taking the Whey 3 times a day.
