I've tried both and in my experience, craze is far superior. IMO it really is the gold standard as far as pre-workouts go. The anxiety/jitters/nasty stim feel from enhanced was just too much for me even at lower dosages. I do seem to be the minority however. Its a bummer.

Increased gauge of the needle does not mean more discomfort. Studies have shown its the technique, not the needle that determine whether it hurts or not.
