    Vaccine, anyone?

Been awhile since Ive been on the board - happy to see so many folks who see what is really happening. It's all cultural Marxism for the great reset. First mRNA vaccine, rushed to market, no thank you.

What supplements WORK for fat loss!!!

If by 'supplements' you mean anything that isn't hormonal, then sorry, it is just diet. Those last few pounds just require tighter diet control and more time.

    fake sweetners

Finally! Someone else gets it. Managing one's diet based on insulin levels is a piss poor approach and here is why. Firstly, insulin's action on the body is not a binary effect, meaning it is not a simple on or off. It is very dependent on actual levels. So the question I ask to all the insulin...

    Sugar Intake

'Sugars' are just a simple form of carbs. They have either one or two saccharide molecules whereas complex carbs ('starches' or glucose polymers) have more. The complex versus simple is outdated; forget about it. Some simple carbs like fructose and lactose absorb slower than most complex carbs...

Corn syrup (glucose syrup) post workout?

The push to use highly refined carbs and sugars was just a way for supplement companies to legitimize the crap they put in weight gainers and PWO recovery formulas to boost calories. These are all empty calories. There are plenty of whole food options such as oats, sweet potatoes, yams, rice...

    Raising T-Levels Nutrition???

At your age and current levels, there is no need to worry about it. Concentrate on learning how to plan a diet at an appropriate calorie level and macronutrient ratio as well as learning how to lift. The rest is just gravy. Put your $112 towards groceries or a trainer that knows his/her stuff.

    Fruit sugar bad???

Both protein and fat also trigger an insulin response, just not as much as carbs. This is fairly intuitive with protein since extra gets deaminized into glucose. It is not yet well understood why fat does but it is thought to interfere with insulin function causing increased levels to 'overcome'...

    Fruit sugar bad???

This is bad advice. Adding fat to carbs may slow down digestion but it also adds calories and will also increase TOTAL insulin requirements.

Maltodextrin - This stuff is in everything!

Nope: conventional sugar (aka sucrose) has a GI of 66 whereas Maltodextrin is around 100, the same as glucose (aka dextrose). This means that, calorie for calorie, it will cause a LARGER insulin response than sucrose. Yep: horrible stuff. This is an example why it is virtually useless to rank...

    Fruit sugar bad???

Wow, this thread takes the cake for stupidity. It's amazing how many people cannot think beyond good/bad, yes/no, black/white - learn to analyze cause and effect before you preach.
