Began training at age 14 at 5'9" 125 lbs. for football. Played JV - HS - College - Semi-Pro - and briefly NFL Free-Agent (Fullback). Still 5'9" but have weighed as much as 296 lbs. Presently 253 lbs. on my way back to 242 class. 1st sanctioned meet was 1986 USPF Alabama (1st - 242) Have competed and held records in 220,242,259(WABDL),275 and 308. Have or held Master's World and American records at 242,275,and308. I have won 9 World Master's Championships with WABDL, AWPC, and WPC. Best lifts in the gym are 931 squat - 700 BP - 660 deadlift. From age 48-50 Bech Pressed over 600 lbs. in 10 meets. Career highlight was being chosen by my WPC Team USA team-mates to recieve the 1st place team trophy for the USA! Immediate goals: Hope to break the over 50 All-time total record of 2146 lbs. set by Gene Bell at WPC Worlds in N.Y. Nov. 06. Hope to be one of only 3 over 50 lifters to bench 700 and the 1st to bench 750. I'm very proudly sponsored by Titan Support Systems. Alabama APF Chairman.

Jesus - At the end of a very long, strong and happy life. I've met most everyone else I've had an interest in meeting (famous that is). Mostly I just like meeting other lifters at meets and talking powerlifting!
