    You sound like the poster child for keto. Things that will kill your results. 1. Cheat day. 2. Alcohol If you're strength in climbing, calories are at maintenance or over. Have you had recent bloodwork to check thyroid, liver, kidney function?

    Training becomes less a factor...diet becomes more of a factor and its effects on metabolism, recovery, etc... You can "look" great but strength and performance gradually deteriorate no matter what you do. Its nature. You look for goals within yourself and other people your age. Its all relative.

    Its just not looking at the right markers. Its not dietary cholesterol they should be looking at, its the role serum cholesterol has on PAF. And when you look at that, its not much. Combine eggs with hash browns every day, PAF rises. Eat eggs without hash browns, PAF doesn't rise.

    Just be careful not to overstretch. What you actually do as you get older is increase mobility within the joint, which you don't want to do. The more you stretch, the more ligaments actually relax and allow more movement within the joints.
