I keep losing weight

So a bit of a back story. I'm 172cm... Historically speaking I've always had a slow metabolism. Always been on the higher end of the scale but still in the healthy range for my height.. about 3 months back I decided to start eating healthy and for the the first 2 months I stayed away from processed foods completely (it's during this period I lost the most weight). And that was great went from 75kg down to 62kg.. In addition I've been exercising primary focus being callisthenics. I've definitely grown in physical ability... My issue is that I'm at a point of where I feel that I might be getting too light now... Not developing muscle at a massive rate that's fine. I don't have any intention of being massive I just want an athletic build so to speak. To give you an example of my basic diet

Morning
50g oats, 2eggs and 2 fruits of my choosing

Mid morning snack
Peanuts, and a fruit

Afternoon
150g fish and 100g rice with some veggies on the side

Pre workout
Fruit smoothie and some form protein snack

Supper
Chicken with potatos.

Evening snacks vary
Air fried popcorn is a common thing for me to be eating so I'll put that on my snacks category.....

So back to my question
Why am I still losing weight. This is a concern for me because I know that there is a point where me losing weight is negatively going to affect my workouts and I don't want that to happen

Congrats on your weight loss!

You aren’t consuming a ton and therefore are burning more than you take in. Just up the portions of your meals or add an extra meal in somewhere to increase the calories to slow down/halt the loss of weight.

Thanks. I'll increase my intake a bit more. Any food recommendations to add to my diet?

If you ate less to lose weight and you want to stop losing logic would dictate you eat more.
Add 250 calories to your daily intake for a week if you gain weight lower it if you’re still losing weight add 250 more to the next week and go from there.

As far as no intention of being massive every time I hear someone say this I always have the same response. Don’t worry you won’t be. It’s a pet peeve of mine when people say this like it’ll just happen over night. It takes time and lots of effort.

Have you been urinating more than usual lately?

it's an understandable pet peeve. It somewhat undermines the time and effort to get to that point. I definitely could have phrased that better... I'll do that incremental calorie increase as recommended thanks

No not by a large amount. I've increased my water intake as part of being healthly. Urination seems to have scaled equally to water intake

Only on days i get little sleep or days when i eat less than usual (university student and I have to leave early 5am on some days)
It may be worthwhile to get your HbA1c checked.

Have you gone to a doctor for bloodwork? A1C, glucose, thyroid, CBC would all be helpful in ruling things out here.

My real guess here is that you actually have a pretty fast metabolism and what you are eating is not very calorically dense. You just probably need to eat more, but blood work would be helpful.

Do you wake up at night to urinate more than 1 time a night ever?

What is your body temp?

What is your rating heart rate?

Any hair shedding?

How much sleep do you get at night?

Serious question...

Am I missing something?

Why did you guys suddenly jump to some condition like he’s got a problem? It’s been 3 months and he changed his habits and lost weight.

To me it seems like he simply increased expenditure (training) and decreased intake (healthier foods) then obviously lost weight. If he now no longer wants to lose weight he just needs to eat more? No?

I hear ya, i tell my mum all the time she should work out so she doesn't get frail, "oh i dont want all them muscles and veins". Yeah like its that freaking easy mum, ive been training 20 years and look only just better than average but you'll turn into she-hulk overnight if you even look at the small pink plastic 4lb dumbbells

You are correct - I didn't initially think anything. And I am not sure there is a problem, but Nostrum brought up the point. I kind of fall on your side of the fence and almost thought the same thing - but if my conversions are correct we have someone who is 5'7'' and weighed about 175 and now weighs 135 and is continuing to drop weight.

My first thought is, yeah, probably just needs to eat more.

My second thought is that we don't normally see too many people on here who lose weight so easily they have a concern about it like this. A lot of times it we have to fight theories about starvation mode because people think they ate too little.

But I also just realized I made an assumption about the OP that may slightly change things as well - I was assuming the OP is a guy and the 135 pounds, while not unhealthy yet, is getting pretty low.

If the OP is female, this may make a little more sense.

I didn't mean to freak anyone out, just covering bases. I doubt it is anything other than increasing food intake. My bad.

It's fine honestly I get it. It came from a good place. I was the one asking for advice at the same time I also don't just jump the gun on taking advice either I usually curate and wait for for more people's opinions. And also in addition what my own body is feeling. I wasn't feeling sick or struggling with digestion so I did naturally take the medical checks advice with a grain of salt... Side note about a month back we had basic health checks at university (cholesterol, blood pressure etc) Everything checked out. So thank you to everyone in still new to all of this but the group seems really amazing so far I look forward to being on this group in future

All I said was that it might be worthwhile to check A1c, I'm not sending off for an MRI. It's just a little finger stick test. They can usually do it right in the doctor's office.
