Back to the nitrates talk,

So you don’t think you could work out a deal with Ron Kramer over SNS releasing a bulk nitrate based product?

I mean cellucor have one and you also have noxygen too

Im a shift worker myself (1am here, still at work haha).

I use lola and melatonin regularly to regulate sleep cycles. Works very very well for me.

I know what you mean as well, my job is hugely draining mentally and physically. I wouldnt say im depressed, but often have bouts of anxiousness.
Yeah I’d say the same more anxious when I think about it, I work 12 hour shifts from 8pm to 8am and My job is looking after the elderly, 90% have dementia and as much as I love the old buggers it’s mentaly draining as your being punched, bitten and cleaning up ****, piss and vomit for hours on end. Not a fan of melatonin but Will try Lola along with my usual taurine, glycine, magnesium as they do help.

Maybe some lemon verbena? Probably not stand alone (although I’ve looked for some off and on a few times) but could be a cool option in a recovery product. I mean all these fruit and veggie extracts seem to be the rage right now. 🤷‍♂️

I remember loving OG Amino IV and felt this may be part of it but haven’t been able to find any since.

Another idea. Lemon Verbena. Not sure how it would do as a solo ingredient but would be nice in conjunction with LCLT and Taurine for muscle recovery/DOMS reduction

Sorry I missed this post before. I don't think that's one I've ever looked into before. I'll make a note to read up on it. Would it go good in a recovery specific formula you think?

CBD product? Or maybe a chewable fat loss/energy product...how about a chewable form of Focus XT?

Oh I have one more! Anacardic Acid! It's found in cashewnuts and it has similar effect as DNP but without the lethality.
CBD - no because of the legal questions associated with it and also because its hard for companies that make it to get merchant processing. The biggest merchant processor for the CBD industry stopped in May.

Focus XT chewables - great idea but impossible because you can't fit that many grams of active ingredients into a chewable. You'd have to probably eat an entire bottle of chewables to get the dose in one scoop haha.

Never looked into Anacardic Acid.

For which or what reason? Genuine question unless I missed something.
I like Ron; I think he just prefers to deal with larger companies as far as I know. I tried years ago to get permission to use nitrates in something and it didn't work out.

LOLA is underrated. Also has some emerging data for helping shift workers sleep
Absolutely agree. I think LOLA is one of the most underrated supplements on the market. At the price we sell it for, imo it should be a staple in most people's supplement regimens.

Oh really. This is a serious issue for me to the point that I’m getting depressed big time and I hate when people say there depressed 😒. I will look into this now.
Nothing wrong with people saying they're depressed in my opinion. I think that we all experience episodes or periods of depression in our lives and some of us keep it to ourselves while others tend to talk about it more.

In addition to looking into LOLA, I think you may be very interested in our upcoming Stress & Anxiety Support product. If you haven't checked the thread out on that, here's the link:
https://anabolicminds.com/community/threads/sns-stress-anxiety-support.311637/#post-6237749

^^ I had hoped that product/thread would have gotten more love than it has because it's a formula we've spent over a year testing different ingredient and dosage combinations on and I think the product will be very beneficial for a wide variety of different types of people.

I like Ron, but I think he does prefer from a business perspective to deal with larger companies like Cellucor. They can of course obligate to much larger buying volumes and also promote nitrates more because of their huge advertising budget. I would love to be able to use nitrates but I do understand his side from a business perspective.

If the opportunity ever presents itself, we'd love to though.

Lemon verbena - I haven't looked at that in a long time. If anyone has any dosage suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Woah missed that. Great minds think alike?

Ya I was thinking some form of recovery product or to boost recovery of some products.
Yep exactly. I’m not sure how big the market is for recovery supplements (aware it exists, just unsure how competitive), but it would do well in a comprehensive product. Maybe add Tart Cherry to my list above with other “recovery” aids.

IIRC, PES dropped Lemon Verbena from AminoIV due to the taste. Something maybe to note. I always thought AminoIV tasted great, though.

I’ve seen this specific one used in studies: https://rfiingredients.com/recoverben/

Other resource: https://anabolicminds.com/community/threads/coops-corner-5-verbascoside-lemon-verbena-extract.238772/

Recoverben was what rekindled this because I had forgotten about lemon verbena.

If you (sns) wants to setup a uk partner guve me a holler. I got some people across the pond and maybe we could figure something out. That is if you're interested. Always glad to see sns making leaps and bounds as their stuff is the bees knees.

I have thought several times about doing a standalone HICA product. I'm open to it if enough people want it; if so, everyone let me know.

We will be using it in some upcoming formulations as well.

I don't think there is one UK place that has the full range. I really wish we did have a better distribution network in the UK/EU. We are extremely easy to work with on pricing and minimum orders.

For Anacyclus Pyrethrum, I wonder if the hunger inducing effects are from the n-alkamides, specifically the isobutylamide content?

Yeah, I think power my self has the largest range of your products and predator second

Just not the full range, I understand we can’t get the Y-HCL or agmatine products but there’s no excuse for the rest of the range

I think it might be the other way around. If I'm not mistaken, Predator stocks more of the different SKU's. Powermyself usually sticks to the formulas and doesn't carry many of the single ingredients. I really wish they would.

I would really love to grow the SNS brand in the UK/EU but it requires having distributors/retailers that are interested in really working with us to give us the ability to do so. I would encourage any customers that want to see the expanded line with either of these retailers or other retailers there to request so and let them know. We are extremely easy to work with on our end and offer great pricing and low minimum orders to retailers. That's what makes it so frustrating sometimes - we aren't a company that requires huge orders; we're a company that just wants the chance with retailers in the UK/EU to have our items stocked to be able to promote there and grow.

I hate the out of stock part of that. I'm glad they carry a good selection though; although I wish they'd expand it. On some items, they do order very low quantities (which doesn't bother me, I'm just glad they offer them), but I know it can be frustrating to customers when they run out.

I hope that they will bring in the new items as well.

For grains of paradise the two standardized extracts that I’ve seen have been Paradoxine (12.5%) and Afralean (15%). I think they are both quality.... which ever one gives the best value is the one I would want

There are a couple different standardizations available even within branded Paradoxine. And no disrespect meant to any companies using AfraLean, but as someone who has tried dealing with that supplier before - I encourage them to independently test what they get for active content; not going to say anymore past that out of respect for others using it.

Ehhh...I'd rather see them put out more novel forms like magnesium l-threonate or sucrosomial magnesium.
I think Threonate has potential as well. Actually had thought about a combination of a couple of the different types of Magnesium but wasn't sure if there was enough interest to actually do it.

OK @sns8778 , since you did such an impressive job with Lean Edge, how about making a similar version but with some stims?

Caffeine Anhydrous
Infinergy
Guarana
Theombromine
PEA
Hordenine
Higenamine
Theacrine/Dynamine

Stimulant fat burners could use some desperate help too! Obviously you couldn’t keep all the ingredients of Lean Edge, but don’t be touching that Tri-Carnitine blend or LeanGBB!

First, thank you for the kind words. I'm so glad that you're pleased with the formula. I've been using it for the last 3 weeks and I've lost more fat with my diet being good but not great than I did in the 6 weeks prior to that that my diet was spot on.

Who says we aren't working on something like that? haha ;)

I can say that it wouldn't have Higenamine and Hordenine in it because of the recent FDA statements, but hypothetically if we were to be working on something like that, I could promise it would be an absolutely kick butt formula.

For those following along, the ingredient panel and write up for Lean Edge is now available.

Lean Edge is in my opinion by far the most comprehensive stimulant free fat burner available.

Highlights:
- 15 High End Active Ingredients including 5 Licensed Branded Ingredients
- Clinically Researched Key Ingredients
- Supports Fat Burning, Increased Metabolism, Appetite Control, Cortisol Control, Positive Mood, & Much More

I know some people are against this notion (whatever), but I love it when supplements have the power to do the work for you!

Don’t know if I’ve mentioned this but would really like to see a high quality turmeric curcumin supplement. Or maybe an anti inflammatory formula. Curcumin, tart cherry, fish oil, butchers broom focused around recovery.

Also would buy a solo Ceylon Cinnamon monthly

I think that it surprised everyone when they listed that on the FDA website. They didn't send anyone letters, they just listed something that Hordenine and Higenamine may not meet the definition of a dietary supplement. (Which there are definitely naturally occurring sources for those; however, the forms used in supplements may or may not be naturally occurring sometimes; BUT if they were, that would contribute to killing off plant populations so that's a two edged sword there). Regardless, to supplement companies, it creates 2 issues - 1) not worth getting in trouble over it and 2) running the risk of your products not being able to be sold on Amazon or some other retailers if they take the ingredients off.

Sorry, I missed that part. That is rather impressive!

I know some people are against this notion (whatever), but I love it when supplements have the power to do the work for you!

I've been very pleasantly impressed. To people that don't know me or aren't familiar with me, it probably won't mean much me talking about how well one of our own supplements works, but to the people that do know me - they know that I'm pretty hard to impress from a supplement standpoint and I've been doing this so long I'm immune to the placebo aspect. But yeah, I'd been dieting pretty strict and when the kiddo got out of school, starting slacking on my diet a little. Around that time was when I added Lean Edge in and since have leaned out to a very noticeable degree, not just that I notice but to where I've had several people that I run into in day to day life comment on it in the last few weeks. No kidding, I have a pair of shorts that were tight 3 weeks ago that I have to wear a belt with now to keep them up. Don't get me wrong, my diet isn't terrible but it hasn't been great the last few weeks either so this has been a very nice plus. I would say my diet has been more like the average person trying to get in better shape without giving everything up vs. trying to seriously diet - which is great that the product has worked this well for me because while we of course want it to work for the hardcore people, we want it to be effective for the general average person as well.

High quality Curcumin :)

Anti-Inflammatory - broad category by definition and I think everyone thinks of different things for this. For me, I think along the lines of curcumin, cissus, and more. I'd be curious to hear other people's thoughts.

Fish Oil - as a single ingredient maybe; as a formula, no because I don't want to get into custom soft gel formulations for a number of reasons.

A recovery product is something I view separate and different from an anti-inflammatory. When I think of recovery, I think of tart cherry, ActiGin, HICA, things like that. I think Ferulic Acid has some potential in that department but don't see it mentioned much. That's if I'm thinking of a capsule product. Curious to hear other people's ideas?

First time I think we've been asked for Cinnamon. I'd have to look into that.

Well you seem like a genuine person to me, it comes through in your posts...

I have made similar progress in the past month or so. Obviously it was not with the aid of the new Lean Edge, but I have been utilizing some other top notch products. It certainly feels good when a product or combination thereof meets or even exceeds your expectations.

I was determined not to be self conscious about sporting a belly bulge at the beach this summer, and I am actually starting to see some abs showing again! Congrats on your own progress and all these exciting new products. It will be hard for me to resist trying all of them. Who am I kidding, anyone who is familiar with me knows that I will be trying all of them..

I purchased a lot of PEScience Truerecover so I love the HICA + tart cherry. I just didn’t mention it because I’d buy pretty much anything that combined Actigin and tart cherry (unless it has some super random contradictory stuff but I doubt that would be the case in this situation...).

Thank you. I appreciate it. It means a lot.

Congratulations on your progress. I had really let myself get way out of shape for my standards. I know I won't get to the abs point this summer but was just hoping for close. For me, summertime with the kids is like being constantly tempted with ice cream and other junk food haha; I used to try to stay strict and stay lean but now its about finding balance and my July thru early August, I try to keep my protein up, minimize sugar when I can, but not at the expense of enjoying my time with them if we go on a trip or something.

And thank you. I'm so excited at the amount of fun and exciting things we have coming out. I hope that you will try them all and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
