I use Rehband sleeves and they work great. Have had them for years with no issue wearing multiple times per week. Bought my brother some from rogue for Xmas and he loves those. Another commonly worn brand is SBD, Iron Rebell has some too believe.

I’d suggest determining what thickness you need as that will help narrow it down.

7mm is usually the thickest and stiffest. I have some blue Rehbands in this thickness and they have pretty much lasted forever. Many brands use this thickness with some of the most popular being SBD or many of Mark Bell’s various sleeves. 7mm will provide some compression, definite warmth, and a (debatable) amount of improvement to your lifts.

5mm will still give you support, but will be a bit less restrictive (which usually means more comfortable to wear for longer periods or during other parts of training without choking your calves). It is a good middle ground. Most major brands offer an option in this thickness.

3mm will be the thinnest of the traditional sleeves. These will still give some support and warmth but aren’t very restrictive at all and you could probably even jog or do cardio in them without much issue. Rogue and Rehband are probably the most reliable brands with this option.

Finally I usually just use Hookgrip sleeves. They are cloth and lots of weightlifters use them. They provide minimal support but they warm my knees up and just having something on me gives me the tactile response I want to give me better feedback, and I can wear them for anything as they aren’t restrictive at all.

I know that is a lot and hope it isn’t overwhelming I’m glad to clarify anything else.

Keep in mind there are tons of brands now and lots just import from overseas and then slap a logo on them. Rehbands have been around forever and are made overseas while Rogue offers a good selection and is made in the US, SBD is in Britain, etc. I’d recommend paying just a little more for ones that have been around a bit as they’ll be better quality and last longer.

^awesome post. Seconded. Worth clarification: there will be minuscule if any improvements on your lift from wearing sleeves for any reason other than comfort. If anything you might get 5lbs on your squat directly from the sleeves, but even that is extremely questionable.

Resolve10 This helps a lot I am an older lifter (60 years old) and my knees are not what they used to be. I am not looking for these to a pounds to my lifts but more to give some stability to my knees. My right knee at times almost feels like it moves (side to side) out of the socket and when it pops but in it hurts like heck. I am sure the increased warmth will also be good for may old joints. After reading your post I believe I am leaning towards the 5mm.
jswain34 That you also !!

Ya only added that because some people will say they feel it. I doubt it unless maybe they are wearing some of those crazy stuff denim ones Mark Bell dropped recently. But you know powerlifters they’ll try to milk 5lbs out of anything haha

I was operating under the assumption we were only talking about neoprene sleeves so that was a good point to bring up the material.

Yes the 7751 should be what you are looking for. Also goes by RX Knee sleeve 5mm. Just choose the color you like most.

No problem. Pretty sure it’s the same they’ve just rebranded them and come out with more colors.
