I was speaking with a ND and she recommended CBD oil for my injured shoulder.

Is this stuff for real? Lots of marketing type hits on the net. I see it is per the FDA a schedule 1 narcotic.

I am very sensitive to stims. Even OTC stuff like Bufferin makes me sleepy.

I am leery of self-medicating or using my body as a guinea pig.

I know and also know crap is continually put forward as the next big thing in supplements. I am in the business. Have clients who have claimed miraculous results with my cos. products. Science does not add up that they should.

Have also seen too much exaggeration to ever trust any product including the Supplement Facts label. Heck, I welcome stronger FDA oversight.

I do not want to end up like that kid that off'd himself with caffeine supplementation a few years ago. Have too many people relying on me to be around.

Glad it appeared to work some for you. I do not have chronic pain. Just wish to lessen the rehab portion.

Ok...

Then surely you are aware it is not a stimulant and is actually cannabis (hemp) oil?

CBD is not psychoactive atall, I can't say it had any side effects, my mum uses it as effective pain relief for her joints. Never said there was any sides let alone adverse one and she can't stomach many medications e.g. Morphine, codeine

Very slightly psychoactive. You just can't afford the dose to get high. And that high dose probably has side effects.
