ahhh, but ya gotta love it! :smoker:
as you know I'm right there with ya, sore as hell, but digging it!![]()

Yeah, I am back and forth on it. It is sore again today and I haven't done anything to it. However T Bar rows Saturday may have hit them a bit but still. I have continued modifiying direct ham work. Taking SDL out of my Blast to be safe, replacing with sumo leg press.
Good luck Bro, keep it together but if you feel too run down slow down. I know you know this but it helps to be reminded every once in a while too.
Good deal. Sounds like a solid plan as usual.
Man you must look and feel great!
That will come a lot more as you start cutting carbs and dry out more. It is one of the reasons I want to run lower carb more often then not. I notice a difference in my skin immediately after bring more carbs back into the picture. Because the skin is already loose, retaining any fluid at all in it makes my skin look a little like a halfway filled up waterbed mattress. Only way I am able to control it at all is through carb control. Good thing for you is that your Preparation-H up there still has the stuff in it that will tighten you up for a show. The stuff we get down here has a different ingredient due to a patent. So it doesn't work to tighten up skin temporarily.
Yah I'll save dealing with these issues when I get closer to D-day. It's not my best subject. Sodium loading has some definite possibilities for me.
Wow! my legs were fuggin trashed after Fiday night. I was facing a Sunday morning workout and my ability to do legs was questionable. I get up Sunday morning legs felt a bit better.. hmmn, so I streched them out .. "tender but maybe I can get through it" I says to myself. I do my warmups and thought what the hell I'll give it a shot. First set was tough but got through it ok .. second set was quite good.
When I moved on to SLDL I added another 10 lbs and cranked out 2 very good sets. Workout came off without incident and it was a very good one...
two more to go, I will be pushing the weight higher more quickly as I only have one week of 5's so I am going to be fnishing off with a bang.
Next Saturday we will celebrate our efforts with a meat down at my fav Brazilan restaurant. All the meat you can eat!! Gotta love it!!
Your progress reminds me of a tank.....it may not be as fast as a sports car but you cant stop it once it gets moving.
SLDL i dont do much of and i usually keep them very light...when i start 5/3/1 ill be encorporating them with more frequency.
All you can eat meat.....i can walk out of there 10lbs heavier then i walked in, no joke im always the first one eating and the guy still eating when everyone is waiting for the check! Haha you will pack on another 2-3 lbs of muscle after that night.
Yeah he is making my head spin. JUST KILLING IT WITH GREAT RESULTS. Oops caps lock,
lookit Kleen in his avi -- solid! :saw:
Good workout...
Up on all exercises for sets of five, of course that's part of the plan, the real test will be thursday.
My shoulder is definitely getting stronger as I move up in weight there has been no incidents. I am not lifting as heavy as a once was but I am moving up and doing weight that I would not have been able to do say a month ago. I did miss a rep on the second set of db press but that was more due to caution. I've come to far to risk anything now.
I appear to have gained some size, I attribute that to the high dose of prime and the switch to lower reps. Can't believe I could gain so quickly at this stage. I will not complain though. I was curious and got on the scale and I was back up to 234!! but I am so much leaner!! If anything my diet was tighter than the previous week. I will do an official weight in on thursday to finish this log off.
Based on that weight I would estimate about 4 lb increase in lean mass over the last 4 weeks and I am down 1 lb so I would estimate about 5 lbs fat loss. Using high dosed Prime and OEP together for recomp.. pure genius. I will not take the credit, I was just working on a hunch and you guys know I like to cover both ends of the spectrum.
Remember there are some other factors, the use of AP and high dosed BCAA's around workouts has been highly beneficial as well.

Your progress is text book. I mean 4lbs of muscle in 4 weeks is text book gains. And the 5 lbs in just fat is more then impressive....most people say its impossible if ur putting on a lb of mass a week. True testament to hardwork + knowledge = results.
You dont mind if i steal the high dose BCAA's, AP, and meg dose prime idea do you? Im looking to add carboxy and supersaps to the mix and see what happens....

As always awesome stuff DW, smart to stop short on the DB press second set. The first one is the one that really counts.
Actually at his stage in the game a 1 lb gain in LBM is way beyond text book. DW has been lifting for YEARS, a very advanced lifter as far as muscle maturity goes. To gain a lb of lbm a week at that stage of the game on top of being 51 years old, I would say he is a good half a pound a week over textbook in expected gains. Add to that doing this while dropping overall body weight by a pound and you have something down right amazing. Really on your average bulk if you gain 1 lb a week probably half of that is going to be fat, that is pretty textbook. To gain 1 lb of lbm is an entirely different thing that was only reserved for total newbies or those on AAS.
No I stole most of what I know off someone else... :veryhappy:
hahaha we are a band of knowledge theives
Well even moreso we are the Robin Hoods of the Iron forest. We steal from the rich and give to the poor. Share the wealth.... Wealth of knowledge that is.
Being that we were posing trunks, does that make us as Men, we're Men in tights!
What was that movie?
Traveling around the forest looking for fights....
Well I do believe that I was indeed holding some water. I went back down to 232. So 3 lbs weight loss and lets say 2 lbs mass gain would probably be about right. So 5 lbs overall fat loss. I am looking so fuggin loose now, I could hardly stand it. The before pics are going to be a mess!! That's ok they're before pics. I hate taking pics when I look that sloppy.
Enuff of that talk, workout was stellar last night. I knew it was my last lifting day b4 my break, so I lifted like there was no tommorow.
I added 30 lbs to my leg press cranked out 5 then added 20 more...
Up 20 lbs on SLDL, that was enough
I went up on db press only got 3 though again not going to push my shoulder but it's the first time since I injured myself that I tried the 100 lb db's, I went down to 95 and got all 5 which was better than my second set on tuesday. I was pleased. I had more power but I will not risk injury, have come to far. 18 months of recovery is a long time, I am not looking to repeat it.
Behing back pulldowns up 15 lbs, didn't get the last on the second set quite.. almost.
Tbar rows up 10 lbs and very strong.
Back and front shoulder press, I did my two sets and thought it was kind of easy turns out I forgot to add weight and was doing the same as before, I added 10 lbs and cranked out a third set!! Yah da Prime still got my back. I am cooking now!!
Machine press down up 10 lbs then up 15 more yah baby!!
Preacher curls up 5 lbs and the first set was kind of tough so had to psyche myself for the second set and I crushed it!! Surprisingly easier than the first.
I was up about 40 lbs on the standing calves, I have been making crazy gains if calves lately and my calves have always been very good.
That's it,... so ends the best run I have ever had!! Asteroid/Progressive dosing adding in OEP at the end, HST. I couldn't have done any better and that's all I set out to do. I started out 228.5 and ended 232 with around 5 lbs fat loss.
I think any natural who doesn't have this as part of their arsenal is just plain crazy....
Awesome results DW, don't worry about being loose. It bothers us way more than others notice it. Mine loosend up a bit from bulking then shrinking back down some. Skin loosened immediately. WHAT? Not okay. Oh well I think it will catch back up in a week or so.
You went up in every lift......wtfug.....:261: :yikes: :clap2: :hail:
I had no words so i decided to let emoticons capture my thoughts
It was a combination fo OEP, Jacked and the fact I knew I had nothing to save, it being my last workout. Oh and 3 sets on 5's proved to be too much 3 full body workouts a week. This time I went 2 sets and had more juice.
ok though u were on both OEP and Jack3d i firmly believe that these supps allow you to USE the strength you have earned to a greater ability then most supps. So it was all you....USP just helped bring it out!
That one extra set when ur hitting full bodies is a killer. If im able to increase my one set within a week on a big lift I consider it a huge strength/endurance gain. 2 sets seems to be where i feel i can push the weight the hardest when im hitting a full body routine. Anything past that and im tapping into muscle endurance rather then power.
