Asteroid Stack Mega Prime dosing

Why dont you change over to Hammer strength or something to give your shoulder a little more stability so you don't damage it but can still push hard.

There is a machine that might do the trick, we don't have a hammer strength machine but have something similar.

That may be the ticket to continue trucking o with progress and not causing more damage in the pursuit. Would hate to see a run like this be interupted by an injury. YOu have so much momentum right now it is insane. I can't wait to see how well I do Mega Dosing PRIME, I dont have us much as you did but still, I have enough for a good 6 week blast. Hmmmm. Maybe I can squeeze out 1 more bottle....

Remember I haven't gotten up to the really high doses yet. I say most or the grains on 7 ed and 3 600 mg on wd's. The pills being higher dosed you don't need to go to 10 ed. Remember 9 ed of 600 is only 5400 mg's 7 ed of the new is 5600 mg's ... which is like 9 of the old. I'm just getting into really heavy dosing now.. wonder what awaits me at 7200 mg ed with an extra 2200 mg on wd. (I added in an extra 600 mg pre-workout). I only started this dosing on Friday which was after my last weigh in.

One other thing I have noticed... dosing like this makes you very hungry!! Hence the gains, Prime seems to keep the gains very high quality though. I really leaned out at the beggining of this routine as well so I am still leaner than when I started by at least a percentage.

When I get my OEP, I will probably give it a test run ..I may wait till I hit 240 then I will be dosing Prime very high and the OEP will cut me back down some. I have to guage the effectiveness of OEP for my prep.

Probably the last 4 weeks of this log... it will be interesting to see what mega dosed Prime will do with OEP. My guess is I will still be able to eat my share while taking advantage of the fat burning properties of OEP. OEP will probably take care of excess eating that may arise from the increased apppetite of mega dosed Prime. In a perfect world I would get to 240 and stay there while dropping a percentage or 2 of body fat.... I will probably drop a few lbs though.. time will tell. Stay tuned!!

Yah I was mega dosing now back to regular dosing... no mishaps it's just taking forever to heal.... forever and a day...
 
Nice workout last night....

Squats .. the second and third sets felt kind of light, almost made me feel off balance.

I did switch to machine incline press which is much easier on the shoulder...I cruised through those very quickly...

Back exercises were phenomenal!!

Push press went well.. very quick 3 sets

Decline tri ext was tough but the 3rd set was quite good....

Same with ocurls ...seems arm exercises the 3rd set it very strong on Prime.

Calf raise was a breeze . the whole workout went quick...

I weighed in 235.5 which is .5 down from thursday but I shouldn't use thursday as a weigh in day, so I am .5 up from last tuesday which is my official weigh in day. This has me up a total of 7 lbs I believe.

Anywhere from 2500 to 3200 cals the macro's change in percentage based on the carb intake. Also when your in tune with your body these are not set in stone. I will try for aprox 35 P 40 C 25 F on a normal day. I eat a more protein on low carb days so that could go something like 55 20 25, High carb days alter the ratio to something like 30 50 20...

This should give you a place to start but diet is very individual, and I think recomp does work best on a carb cycle and that these products work best duriing recomp...

i'm just coming off of a bulk and was at 3500 cals so this week i came down to 3200 on w/o days and around 3000 on off. Introducing lower amounts of cals and carb cycling slowly just to ease into it. Year round I don't eat carbs past 7-8 p.m. depending on when i go to bed.

But this log is very helpful, so thank you for responding and being thorough.

If you train in the mornings then eat more on training days if you train in the evenings you'll notice your very hungry the next day so plan your high carb days for days after workouts. Yah carbs late in the day is not usually a good idea.

i train at 3:30 or 4 usually. So my post w/o meal i will take an AP and eat alotta carbs, and usually two hours after that I'll have carbs, fat, and protein , then later just fat and protein. So I taper it. But I wont have any carbs past 7-8 like i said.

by the way, how is the fasted cardio with AP. You don't feel hypo when you do it?
I want to give it a try.

I am with DW, if anything taking the AP allows the muscle to scrounge for any nutrients left in the blood giving you energy to work from.

You can really feel that happening too...

I had a dental emergency yesterday and they told me to skip my workout so I will make it up today.. however I will reduce to 2 sets due to the shorter rest beetween this afternoon and Sunday morning. I did some fasted cardio to make up for the missing cardio session. I ate a little undisciplined last night as I was starving and there was not a lot I could eat that was healthy. I will eat less carbs today to make up for that as well.
 
Yah my teeth have always been a problem. I think I must have chipped just about every one of them playing Football...

Man tooth issues are the worst. SOunds like you have your plan set to recover from the set back though. Your body will probably revel in the added recovery you got from the day off. Good luck, hope the teeth are not causing you any further pain.

Well here is a prayer in the air that you don't get a dry socket. Take care of it. You do need to be pretty for the show because your body is going to be friggin scary man!!!! I can't believe the progress you have made. Even got me willing to take the chance and increase my cals for the rest of the year to see what happens with the rest of the SWOLE Stack, and then of coure my beloved Asteroid stack returns hopefully taking me into the New Year around 200 lbs and still relatively lean.

I would save the calorie hike for when your on Prime...it has a unmistakable unfathomable ability to dispose of excess calories. I get away with a lot of things on Prime that I would not without it, and I am unable to duplicate it on other supps. Megadosing makes me hungry as a large gorilla and it's almost impossible to eat clean but there is little to no fat gain, with high quality muscle gain. That's what this experiment was all about for me I wanted to push the envelope to see if there is an optimum dosing scheme. Higher dosing certainly has additional anabolic benefits but where does it end. We shall see!!
 
You're killing me DW, day two of being off Prime and I seriously considered stopping in at the evil GNC to pick up a 150 count bottle... ahh! This log is awesome but rough to follow when you are not on some Prime let me tell you. Oh well, still got plenty of AP and PF going on so that should ease the transition. I did notice on the days I took 9+ Prime that I could not get enough food and like you said, eating clean never satisfied my hunger but I kept losing fat no matter what I ate.

Even without losing any fat at your weight gaining 7 lbs of muscle drops you a few points on the BF% scale. Very nice!!! Preferable even...

Last night was a torrid pace only did 2 sets of 5 for each exercise and got it done in 40 minutes then put 30 hard minutes in on the precor crosstrainer.

I missed some reps on push press... I was simply moving too fast both sets were only 4 reps, also my elbow is bugging me a bit.

Decline Tri extension I have hit the wall also, I got the reps but needed a spotter to prevent me from going too low.

I will do the same weight on these exercises on Sunday then go up on Tuesday. I am noticing that it's tough for me to hit my maxes when I am training the same exercises 3 times a week. Front squats seemed heavy and I am only up to 250. The second set was very good though.

Sunday morning is going to be very interesting, I am going to have to bring my A game to get through this one... maybe an extra scoop of jacked.

hey DW, interested to see what weight you hit on the Decline Tris... I have the same elbow issue and can't go too heavy on those without my APT wrap, but I hate using the thing too.

Yah it's tricky overhead barbell is ok but I have to watch in with dumbells cuz it can cause me to rotate out of positon. I have had it for years off and on.

Yah it will definitely hamper me somewhat. 105 was tough, extension is a lot harder motion than head crusher and declined it wicked hard, but so so effecitve. The problem and key with the elbow is not to go to deep by really controlling your negatives, when it gets heavy use a spotter. I can usually get up to 115 for 5 but with the elbow and shoulder that may be a problem. I will do 105 again today and see how I feel.

what is your shoulder elbow alignment when doing these? I have done these with light DBells, but the EZ is my fav. I try keeping everything aligned and keep around the same weight you use, and for the same reasons. Just wondering if you are changing your grip up to wider or narrower???

Straight bar narrow thumbless grip, elbows as tight as I can get them. The trick is t push out not up... hence extension. Too many people do them like head crushers.
 
Well I knew today was going to get interesting so I took time to mentally and physically prepare. Lots of stretching...

I don't know how else say it .. I fuggin crushed!! the bitch was mine!! I am an alpha male!!

We have to go through each exercise cuz each one was a triumph...

Front squats 260 X 5 .. First set was feeling heavy but from the second rep on I had my depth and from there my confidence built. The second and third actually seemed light .. god bless Prime!! No reps missed and I could probably have gone heavier. I will be pushing this on Tuesday 270 to start but I might see higher.

I did the machne presses for chest I was up 10 lbs and cleaned the table.

Lat Pulldown 180 X 5 3 sets crushed with perfect form..

Bent over rows 185 X 5 3 sets was getting heavy but I missed no reps

Ok now push press 135 I only got 4 for 2 sets on Friday (remember I have a bum shoulder) well did the same wegiht for 3 sets of five and I could feel the power.

Decline tri extension 105 for 3 sets of 5 .. first set was tough the third was my best

135 on o-curls same thing first was tough 3rd was glorious

Calf raise I ate it up!!

It didn't stop there I did some really beautiful wheel of death 10 reps 20 seconds pause 4 reps they were sweet!! All other ab exercises were heavy and done very well...

The best workout yet on HST and I only had less than 2 days rest!! Now I have over 2 days till next workout.

Yah nothin like a good iron pounding... I kept thinking mid way that if I kept it up that this was going to be the best workout I have had using HST. That's saying a lot cuz there have been some good ones.

Man killer workout DW, as always Sir you are an animal. I am excited to start my Asteroid stack after 2 months off. I am hoping it hits in like yours did. I have a couple more weeks to my next one. It is going to be fun!

Glad you like them so much. Yah it's hard to get the point accross sometimes, just how good these supps are. Some think what we experience from them is too good to be true I guess.
