Asteroid Stack Mega Prime dosing

Forgot to mention I weighed in and to my surprise I was down almost 2 lbs to 229.5 from 231.25. I look bigger so I was expecting an increase. I do look leaner also, could just be that last weeks weigh in was high.

Man sounds great, you must look pretty darn good now. DOn't forget the leaner you get the bigger you look. You could very well be gaining a lil muscle and dropping a lot of fat. The metabolic increase throughout the day from this type of workout is far higher than off of cardio, or even a 30 minute HIIT session.

I have no doubt of that, it was apparent very early that fat was going to melt away.
 
Out of curiousity, how much did you weigh in your avatar?
 
194 can you believe it... I'll never see that again. That's one of the reasons I so excited about being somewhere between 205 and 215 and leaner.

No I am grandmasters age so the open would be very tough for me. I may be able to place at a regional though. I may consider masters at this level. The problem is if you compete at more than one level then you have to do more that one routine and I hate the Coreography crap.

Man I am jealous of all that Xtend. You eat 15-30 min after your workout dont you? If so I would go with maybe 2 before, and 4 intra, finishing whatever is left when you finish the workout. If there is a longer break after then the 1-3-2 sounds good.

You should see the Grand Masters at the international level .. they are very impressive. I am not so sure I was 10% at 240 as a matter of fact I think I was off by a fair bit. I might be close now at 230. Anyway I will start with my before pics before my prep. I guess I should get some calipers so I can measure. I can look at someone else and tell what they are body fat wise in an instant, I am so bad at judging myself though. I am not worried about getting down though, I am ahead of schedule already. I'll have 18 weeks and between now and then I plan on recomping some more. If I am not under 10 now I will be, and a little heavier. I still have some issues... loose skin some areas I need to work on etc.. I am making improvements and I have plans to take care of those problems.. it's a all a matter of how well those plans work. Anywho I will be posting pics every couple weeks starting early January.

Actually I just take my shake after a workout cuz I work out in the evening. I take dominatp pre so 1 sounds good maybe 1.5 2.5 and 2 would be optimal.
 
Well I was a bit tired before I went to the gym so again I was aprehensive about my performance... It was a very solid workout howerver, took about 65-70 minutes, no reps missed.

Had to work late so I missed my cardio session, made it up with some morning fasted cardio AP 2 servings of Xtend .. blue rasberry is nice. Now I have the rest of the day with nothing else planned, will have a big feed tonight with a couple AP. Looking forward to that. As much as I love beating myself up in the gym, I enjoys my rest.. hek I love it all!!

Strength increases during calorie deficit, sometimes very impressive.

Alpha male through the roof

Muscle hardness 24-7

Tremendous recomp, even when calories go up you seem to continue to lose fat

Endurance is crazy your 3rd set is often your best.

The only reason I ever go off this stuff is the body builds up resistance to it over time.
 
Man I did my big carb up last night and what I was seeing were enhancements like I have never seen before. The combo of HST and Prime is so synergistic that I lack the words to describe it. If I can tighten up and hold my mass the sky is the limit, I am pretty fuggin excited. It just makes me want to work harder... I just feel good...

Briing it on .. I'm ready for anything... !!

Wow, I really felt like crap the last couple days... I am completely congested. I can't figure out if I have a head cold or it's my allergies acting up.

So this mornings workout was... well pretty darn good really. Yah I was dizzy after each set and out of breath for the whole thing but I crushed it anyway. My strength was just there. If I had to struggle with the way I am feeling I don't know if it would have worked out so well. I was strong through each set so it ended up .. business as usual... no reps missed.

Yah I am seeing some major size increase.. I was looking a little puffy yesterday morning though but that was excess water. When I get it right I am looking big and hard. Speaking of which the CEL Formestane is fuggin crazy ... uncomfortably so...

AWESOME! Do you drink water around your carb meals? If you try not to drink water for an hour before or after the meal you won't bloat as much. Then just sip what you need to to wash down the food when eating. That way the muscle pulls the water in from your under your skin and not from what you drink because it holds it everywhere if it is available in abundance.

Yah I am not at the point where I am doing any assessment to that level... just some observations. I will definitely need to do some experimenting down the road though.
 
When I do my mega-carb meals... I do not consume water within 30 minutes either way.

Really limits the bloat quite a bit doesn't it Casey.
 
Well, I must have some sort of head cold... just made me angry!! I was alone at the gym last night and despite the fact I was having some difficulty breathing I finished in less than an hour. It was a grueling pace and I missed reps of course but almost all on the second set with only one real breakdown.

Front squats - got all the reps on both sets - not satified with the depth though.
Incline db press the left shoulder is still not strong I got 9 on the first set and 5 on the second this was the worst I did. I am going extremely deep and slow negatives this might have to change some.
No problem with lat pulldowns or bent over rows
Push press 10 on the first 9.5 on the second .. almost made it
Decline tri ext was brutal hard.. 10 on the first 7 on the second
O curl 10 and 8
Calves 10 and cramped up on the second at 8

So all in all it was very sucessful considering the pace. I just wanted to work stupid hard again. Get down and get nasty!! Almost barfed up a lung though...

Almost forgot weigh in!! So the wife and I did the pre weigh in asessment and she said leaner and I said bigger. I almost freaked out when I saw I was back up to 235.. wow!! If it weren't for the fact that my pants are looser around the waste, I would be a little concerned...

I understand, intellectually, that negatives must not be ignored and that tempo change is another tool in the toolbox, but, I have to say I did not like the 4sec tempo at all..glad that scheme is over, not in a hurry to do it again, 2sec drop is sufficient enough for me.

not tryin' to alarm you or anything, but they say the youngsters/oldsters are most at risk..so watch yourself. :D

Man that is awesome weight going up , waist going down! Best combo in my opinion. As far as tempo with HST, in general you will find you need to increase explosiveness as the weight goes up to keep with the reps. Remember you were running off of maxes for rep ranges you did them explosively to find what they were. Naturally as you approach them the need to up the explosiveness rises as well. It is a general progression through most HST cycles thet the 15's are done slower the 10's get more xplosive with a decent controlled lowering of the weight and the 5's are pretty much exlosive all the way through lowering quickly but under control generating power and strength.

I understand, intellectually, that negatives must not be ignored and that tempo change is another tool in the toolbox, but, I have to say I did not like the 4sec tempo at all..glad that scheme is over, not in a hurry to do it again, 2sec drop is sufficient enough for me.

I am not a huge fan of them uness done with something like GVT which really kicks in the GH production. Just more due to not feeling powerful, however I do love the pump, and get good effects however the enjoyment factor of the workout suffers with this method.

I wonder, this is the oddest cold I have ever had no other symptoms besides congestion ..shortness of breath and dizzy spells.

Well I'm defnitely part way back... I helped it along with some Jacked... opened up a new tub and the power had turned to stone so I had to chizel it. Not going to let it go to waste it still gets the job done.

My front squats were perfect and intense got all reps and every one was deep.

I still had some difficulty with DB shoulder press but that is my shoulder acting up. I was sort of all over the place and got 8 so I reduced the weight by 5 lbs and did another 9.

Back exercises were concise and did full reps.

Push press I did 10 and 8.5

Decline tri extenstion was 9 and 7 very tough...

O curl I did my first set didn't like my form so I dropped down by 5 lbs and did a better set.

Calf raises ... no problems...

Very good workout seeing that I was starting to hit the wall on some of these excercises at a lighter weight.

After I thought I'd weigh in and see if that 5 lb gain was just a fluke, I mean 5 lbs in one week seems a bit extreme and sure enough I did not weigh 235 like I did on thursday just as I thought... I weighed 236!!! WTF!! another lb in two days ... That's 7.5 lbs in 4 weeks!! Something goin on here folks ... stay tuned!!

Not to sound like a played out late night tv infomercial, but i KNOW i put on lean mass when i first started HST last spring. Here's the funny part, my calories got as low as 1700 because I was desperate to cut fat for spring break.
Nothing feels better than getting to hammer your whole body every workout!!

There is no doubt about it this is the best routine I have ever used, I mean my changes are one thing but my girls wow!! Monica the woman that's been with me for a year now as a near perfect physique because of the changes I've seen on this.. were talking smoking hot!! The newer girl is well on her way ... making rapid progress. Metamorphasis is the word that comes to mind... it's very exciting...

AWESOME! Man you are just getting ridiculous results from the HST and mega dosing PRIME. What is crazier is this is not even a post carb up weight. Man DW competing at 215 maybe even 220 is sounding more and more like a doable thing for you. I am pumped up for you brother!

I can not agree more. I LOVE working the whole body at once. I have been doing full body workouts now for years and they just can't be beat. I just add in an extra set or two for my focus points or an extra workout on the focus body part when i am trying to single out something to make gains. I love it, and my composition has continued to improve since adopting the full body workouts.

Thanks and again thanks for turning me on to this. I have an affinity for it no doubt. Ever since I started this log, I have had a feeling of things lining up and then the results!!

Oh and another thing I did not mention. I get these feelings in my muscles like growing pains. It's not like the regular soreness but an irritation and I have to get up and stretch, that's what it feels like though growing pains. Like a deep itch that needs to be scrathed. Very interesting considering the instant mass gain.

These are like newbie gains I don't know how else to describe them, you can feel it see it and touch it.

Oh and I have to give some credit to the increase in BCAA's. I'm up around 50 grams that includes my pre, intra and post nutrition, and in and around 15 grams of L-glutamine.

Yah I know what you mean it's hard finding words to describe it... it's just freaky. I was on the scales and I said to the guy waiting.. "I'm gaining like I am on juice" ... It's literally shocking. 5's start on Sunday and my dose just went up to 9/11 .. I am actually going to add another 600 mg pre-workout to that so it's almost 9/12, I have the pills might as well use them. Just call my Frankenstein cuz I'm building a Monster.. it being Halloween the timing is right...

Front squats were deep!! 3 X 5 absolutely crushed it!!

Db incline press only 4 on the third set .. missing reps already .. it's my shoulder or I would have crushed this. I may reduce the incline a bit as I go up..

Back exercises were breeze...

Push press was very good ...

Decline tri extensions are going to be interesting as well I did 3 perfect sets but they were heavy. Same story with o curls...

I am growing like a bad weed I can visually really see additional size going on... getting very very big!!
 
Are you looking to increase your end goal seeing how your progessing at an unreal rate?

Or you plannign to leave it as is and just see where you are by the end of the stack?

Thanks ... the only thing that may not come to fruition is I don't think my shoulder will be well enough to reach my goal but I'll keep plugging away .. we'll see... That's small potatoes when you look at the big picture. I have proved to myselt that I can pack on mass without big weight.. high intensity is the key.
 
DW I'm starting my recomp this week. Coming off the bulk at 3,500 calories...

Do you think I should decrease cals week by week down to maintenance are jump right down to that level?

Why dont you change over to Hammer strength or something to give your shoulder a little more stability so you don't damage it but can still push hard.
