how do these codes work? I presume they're discount codes but what do you need to do to get them?

it gives you 5% off any order no matter what you buy or what quantity. if you use the code on "bulk" orders such as 16 or more lbs of protein or 5 or more bottles of caps, it will give you 10% off. typically this should come close to covering the cost of shipping.
