Is there a problem adding carbs to PW?

It seems the general consensus is to take purple wrath by itself. I really enjoy mixing it with waxy maize during my workout. I love the idea of taking amino's during my workout and it tastes flat out awesome. Is there really a big problem that anybody would know about by doing this? Thanks in advance.
 
I'm also thinking of putting purple wraath in an IV and just carrying that around with me but I don't think my gym will allow that.
