Enraged_Chris's Road Back to the Platform

So between work/injuries/life I haven't competed in a bit over a year. And I'm looking to prepare to compete late winter/early spring but I want to be healthy and pushing close to some pr's before dropping the dough on a competition.

Current Training Maxes:
Squat: 555*2
Bench: 375*2
Deadlift: 675*1
all weighing between 200-205

Goals:
1. Get healthy and back on the platform (181 class)
2. Drop to a lean sub 200 so I can watercut to 181
3. Hit at least: 575,390,680 in my meet. Reach goals: 600,400,700
4. Look good while doing it.

Currently dealing with: minor hamstring pull and some minor issues in the pec, almost fully cleared up

Supplements:
- Joint support: InnovaPharm Superior Cissus
- Testosterone/hormonal support: InnovaPharm Stage One Evolution Rejuvenation
- Preworkout: InnovaPharm Enraged for heavy days (high caffeine/dmaa/phenypiracetam pre)
- Other preworkouts: Nutrex Outlift/GAT PMP/InnovaPharm Limitless
- Energy drink: PES Alphamine for daily energy drink needs/ basic nootropic support
- Nootropic: Precision Research Celastrus Paniculatus nootropic/focus/preworkout potentiating
- Herbal anabolic: Precision Research Primal (Tribulus Aquaticus)
- Protein: PES Select or CTD Isolicious
- Intra carbs: Gummy bears
- Aminos: Evogen Aminoject
- Pre-bed: InnovaPharm ZMX (zinc/magnesium glycinate chelate w/ p5p)
- Inflammation: Nordic Naturals Omega Curcuminoids

I'll probably be trying out some various upcoming innovapharm products and some various nootropic ingredients during this time. I like trying out most supplements on the market given the opportunity so I'm always looking for new things to demo out, suggestions welcome.

Training: Usually doing some bastardized version of conjugate style training. Mostly just some rotation of max effort/dynamic/repetition work. Prefer to stick in submaximal percentages for my training and hit a lot of volume in accessory work. If all feels well and good I will be starting a cycle of Cube Predator Bench for my bench press. Probably sub in a few different exercises as I've done this program a few times. For squat/deadlift currently I will just be rotating max effort/dynamic effort work with some volume thrown in. Deadlift for the next few weeks will be mostly off the table. Looking forward to feedback.

Ok so this week had some solid training but nothing to write home about-- still waiting for pec to feel good enough to go heavier but felt much better this week.

Squat day
Pause squat w/ ssb: 405*5*3
Glute ham raise: 3*15
Back extension: 4*20
Leg Extension: 120*3*20 last set rest pause 5,5,5,3,3,3,2

Workout felt good, didn't want to do anything to heavy or crazy. Good pumps and good endurance.

Bench:
225*3*10
superset w/ band pull aparts (orange elitefts band) 3*20
Hammer Strength Incline BP
120*3*15
110*2*20
100*2*15
Shoulder press on calf raise machine
90*4*15
superset w/ iso row 4 plates per side 4*15
20 minutes of various arm work (didn't record this)

Had a great workout. Tried the new Cherry Crush Limitless and I had forgotten how much I liked it for a solid focus heavy preworkout without jitters and I find 2amino has a longer active effect than dmaa, although less intense. I could see 2 scoops giving some insane energy but I just stuck with one. Threw in a few grams of taurine as well since with the high volume sometimes I get some uncomfortable cramping. Just felt like I had great energy today and could keep going, feeling a bit more motivated. Cant wait until I am good enough to start going heavy again. Also took in like 6 packs of halloween gummy candies... great investment and great pumps. Also sipped on 2 servings of aminos during the workout.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BMhI-kgA24i/ I had a crazy pump (excuse my inability to pose.)

Deadlift:
405*3*2 from the floor
405*3*2 from 2 mats
superset w/ chin ups: 6*15
Reverse hyperextensions 3*20
hamstring bothering me a bit so called it quits after that and did some massage work with a lax ball.

Upper body day did some light incline bench press and hit some heavy overhead press
Incline BP 225*3*3
OHP: 135*5, 155*5, 185*3, 205*2*3 -- felt very unstable during this but that happens when you haven't done ohp heavy in about a year (I black out during heavy ohp), 135*5*10
Chin ups: 5*15
Overhead Tricep Ext: 90*3*15

I'll be strict with updating this after the holidays... this week a was a pretty good training week. Hit some upper body today

Back benching again, which is good and no pain but not trying to push anything. Supplements are more or less the same. Will be updating some things for the new year.
Bench superset w/ sets of 12 pull ups:
315*2*5
225*2*12

DB incline bench:
75*3*14

hammer strength rear delt fly
3*15 (usually just choose a weight that feels good for this exercise depending on fatigue... didn't write it down)

Overhead tricep extension:
75*3*15

Machine Curl:
110*3*15

Quick workout today, in and out in an hour, probably hit it again in the am with some deadlift/hamstring work and back stuff.

Gotta work the booty for the ladies. We all know they love a strong posterior chain.
