  1. Still training. Just been a little crunched for time to log regularly with school and work.

    Going to train for the meet in March and see how things go when I get closer to that time. May take another stab as a 165, may just compete 181. Depends on where I am strength/bodyweight wise when the time comes.

    Currently hold the 9th ranked squat for professional classic raw as an open 165 in the RPS, so that is kind of cool. My 3rd attempt would have put me at #7 if I had gotten to finish it out.

    My daughter got a bit spooked at how quick March was coming up. So she asked if we could do the one after that. I guess it is in June but didn't see it on the RPS site. So that is the new plan, she said she wants to be solid before she competes and I agree. Will give me a little more time to focus on growth, and maybe even start leaning up a little for the meet if I want. Just depends on condition at the time, the BB contest I have planned is Nov 3rd so a pretty good time to start my BB prep after the Meet. So that is up in the air but I am only doing the meet to do it with her. Otherwise I will focus on my physique.

    I don't see a June meet on the ASF evenr calendar yet either. I will keep an eye on it. Just let me know if your plans change. We may compete in March anyway, but Beverly would prefer to compete with you guys whenever you go. Summer usually works better for us anyway, so it wouldn't be a problem for us to compete then.

    Even better, I am used to them having one quarterly so I figure it will show up soon. I hope so anyway. Had a great time with you all last time!

    Yeah, still training 4-5x a week. I have just been slammed with work and school. Usually train right before heading to work, so I don't have time to update much.

  7. Did something to my bum knee on Saturday during box squat (DE). Sharp pain at lockout. Has been sore since. Will probably not squat tomorrow and will probably pull instead.

    Hate to hear that... I am dealing with a pinched nerve in lower back right now...

    It is getting better just had my 2nd chiro visit, he said my hip position had improved by a good 1/4 inch this time and that one more next week might d the trick. It pinches more in the morning after lying in odd positions I think.

  12. I wish the dude still posted around here. I am thinking about getting a singe ply suit (or some briefs) to help protect the hips on some of my squat days, but I don't know which ones are worth the money.

    Any ideas? @jswain34 @Rodja @Sean1332 @Hyde

  13. I personally have no clue, but I just pmd you. Im thinking about getting a pair of loose briefs just to help my hips stay healthy and happy.
