Hey all. This will be my permanent home regarding my training, supps competitions etc.

I'm currently in week 2 of John Meadows program 3.

Nothing special going on supp wise. Getting g bloods drawn this week for my new HRT doc.

Chest and shoulders on tap tomorrow

Program 3 week 2 legs

Warmup 10 min

LYING LEG CURLS -
3 warmup sets
3 x10+10 partials

SQUATS 3 Sec negative

LEG PRESS BANDED
7X8 (4 work sets)

SINGLE LEG MACHINE PRESS

DB RDL
2x10

STANDING CALF MACHINE
worked up to a tough 10 rep weight then did 100 reps in as few sets as possible. Most rest taken was 15 secs. This was brutal

Thanks for subbing fellas. Been crazy busy as of late.

Chest shoulder day yesterday was solid. Had an insane pump and strength is climbing back.

Today consisted of 20 min HIIT on the stairs followed by the hot tub. My legs are so sore after Monday. Especially my calves.

Today is considered off so it's a low carb day 125ish. Fats will be around 90 today as well.

Back tomorrow

Okay sorry for lack of updates been slammed at home.

Diet was great until yesterday. Being an off day was going to keep carbs down but that didn't happen lol. My appetite has been through the ****ing roof.

Woke today at 220 lol. I was 211 sat am. Oh well it led me into a great leg session this am

I specifically have my leg days on Monday because I carb up on Sundays. It makes such a HUGE difference!

I refuse to be everybody else. I hate international chest day. Except when people start getting pissed at me for stealing plates to leg press with :-D
Which is really amusing, because anybody who's not a shirted bencher can easily assemble up to 405 or so in 35s & 25s, but their egos demand they immediately add 45s as soon as possible. It's hilarious. I'll watch guys w/ 205 on the bar walk right up & grab 2 45s off the rack & ignore the pair of dimes so they can swap off their 35s for the full plate. Gimme a break. Noobs look at me like I broke some sacred rule cuz I have a row of 25s on either side of the bar. Meanwhile they're waiting for equipment, not doing jack.

I'm so sick of re racking plates In the am. Some douche always puts as man u different plate sizes on the rack Ias possible. Wtf is wrong with people

Nice buddy. I think I'm gonna start program 3 over next week. I'm on week 9 right now but being so busy lately its been kinda spotty at best

I made it through week 11 during our little competition then I got sick didn't train for like 15 days lol. Got fat again

I'm finishing this one then moving into reactive pump probably

Today was just abs and cardio or in other words rest day.

Ab WOD 3x12

22 min on step mill. Not sure if that's what it's called but it's an ass kicker compared to any other cardio equipment.

Cals were just over 3k yesterday

Phase 1 of this program comes to an end this week then the fun begins lol

Once my back/leg heal I am going to start a reach-around pump over.. was only on stroke 3 or 4 anyway. Driving me crazy not tickling.

Yeah I started program 3 over. Trying to push myself harder this go and I have appropriate band set this time around. Phase 2 starts monday

I'll move into his reactive pump program after a deload from this

Today was an active off day. Got up did 30 min SS cardio on the step mill. Then proceeded to hit the sauna .

Struggling with the old diet as of late. I'm not eating cap per say I'm just eating a ton lol. Need to get some structure this week.

No more high fats not liking that at all. Fats will be around 60-70g.

This is what Superbeast is doing, and now me. It's the wave of the future lol. I don't think it works as fast as high fat/low carb, but if you have enough veggies included hunger isn't an issue at all, nor is energy or strength (my number one reason for using it).

I think SB is keeping his doing like 250-300/250/45 for his targets (like 2500 cal/day). I've been on 2-300/250-300/<60 & loving it (I've got 10wks to drop 10lbs so strength gains for my meet are being favored here).

I have to mention that I truly think it's inferior from a fatloss perspective, at least for me, 100%. But I'm not trying to get contest shredded, just dump some general bf slowly while I continue to powerlift. If strength is of no importance then the fats get my vote.

Also, there's things to consider on this diet like not being able to eat whole eggs, limited 93/7 beef or turkey, steak, almonds, no PB, cheese, even watching omega consumption like fish oils (if you take 10 cheapos/day, that's def something to consider) or fats from GMS or other supps. Getting to 45/day requires some forethought for sure.

Keep in mind sudden weight loss can be quite unhealthy.. No need to carb cycle YET IMO. In my current shape I think what I'm doing will be best. I feel once I get to a certain point then I will carb cycle but that won't be for a while. I'll be around the body comp I was in my avi, but a bit bigger when I do that. As long as it's clean carbs (IME) and you can keep the fat low it works quite well in a deficit.

Lol about time.

Not a priority atm as life is crazy. Trying to just keep up with my obligations here.

Things are going well training wise. Week six of this program. Diet is well hit and miss. I'm eating great food sources no real junk. I'm just a hungry fool lately so my structure is lacking.

All is well though. I'll steer thins ship in slowly as things in personal life wrap up over the next few weeks.

Big ****ing day today for this guy.

First I destroyed my legs. I mean toasted them good. Then I took the day off and finally passed my real estate exam and am now just waiting for my license so I can hopefully start rolling June 1st. Huge accomplishment for me as I've had every ****ing reason to put it aside these last few months.

Now I can focus on my training more and get this lack luster diet dialed in

Also my blood work came back from my HRT doc. All is well except e2 was 79 lol. I figured it would be but since I'm new to him and came off hcg he wanted to see what test alone did.

TT came back at just under 1100.
Kidney function. 100% liver enzymes within range. I'm always on the high side of normal.

All was well. Cholesterol ratio was fine but total cholesterol was a bit high which I can attribute to the high dosed tvar a d ****ty diet for about 4 weeks.
