    5x5 for mass and strength?

So I've done 5x5 before, and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I've never done it for mass before, my question is this, I like the strength building from 5x5 but is it a solid routine for building size?

I would say so. Anything is really as long as you're eating enough. I like the 8-20 range though myself

Precisely. Your mass gains are going to reflect your caloric intake. So eat up! I like the 3-10 rep range personally
