Taste: Gotta give the taste to Hyde! I'm more of a fruit punch than a berry fan and this is one of the best tasting Fruit Punch flavors I've ever had!
Mixability: Never really had much of a problem with the mixability of Volitale until today where as Hyde never gave me a mixability problem..again Hyde takes the win on this one!
Effectiveness: WELL, after taking both products back to back days, I can EASILY say that Formutech Volitale takes the cake on effectiveness! I had a lot more energy and the pump was a lot more noticeable for me!
Winner: Formutech Volitale!!!! For me, I would rather have an effective product than a better tasting mixing product...its all about effectiveness and real application and Hyde was just a step below for me.

I have noticed any additional benefits other than normal but from a protein powder, I wasn't expecting it to.

Mixability (10/10) - I just used a bottle and shook it up without any blender cube and there was no residue, foam, or any problem! REALLY loved the chunks of real chocolate in it! Those really put it over the top for me!

Texture/Mouthfeel (9/10) - DEFINITELY loved the shake over sludge! The sludge although completely mixed felt slightly gritty but the shake had ZERO problems! Again those chunks made the shake a lot more savory!

Taste (10/10) - The shake was incredible and as a sludge it was so close to tasting like a liquid chocolate chip cookie so I was very happy about that! First couple times it tasted like dark chocolate which isn't my favorite but as I kept trying it different times it got better and better! EASILY one of my top favorite chocolate protein powders!

Value (10/10) - You can get a 5 lb tub off of bodybuilding.com for $54.99 which, for 5 lbs of whey protein, is a pretty standard price. I would definitely buy this product over other whey proteins simply because the taste and the profile. The added creatine is always nice so that I simply don't need to supplement with it directly!

Overall (10/10) - Long story short, its a great tasting, well dosed, affordable protein! RCSS did a stand out job with this one!

Profile (10/10) - TRULY an amazing profile! Along with the properly dosed Branched Chain Amino Acid mixture, there is the inclusion of HICA, Beta Alanine, and Citrulline Malate make it a step every other BCAA I've used intraworkout. As if that wasn't enough, its all CLINICALLY DOSED which is a BIG positive in my books!

Mixability (10/10) - NEVER had a problem! No clumps, no grittiness, nothing! Dissolved perfectly without even using a blender cube. Even after sitting for 2 hrs during my workout, I still didn't have residue at the bottom…that truly impressed me!

Texture/Mouthfeel (10/10) - As with the mixability above, there was no grittiness left on my teeth and was a smooth refreshing shake!

Taste (10/10) - Let me start off by saying that I'm a HUGE punch flavored fan! I went into this with the expectation of a fruity punch flavor and was completely wrong…in a good way! Tasted like the best blend of pineapple, mango, and literally tasted tropical haha!

Value (10/10) - They ALWAYS have this product on sale and even when it isn't the price per serving is so incredibly affordable there's no reason anyone CAN't afford it, even being a less than profitable college student, I can and will continue to buy this product because of the price and effectiveness of the product! I don't think there's another intraworkout BCAA on the market that is this effective and cheap per serving.

Overall (10/10) - I workout 7 days a week with nearly EVERY session being around 30-40 sets, squatting and deadlifting 3x a week and benching 4x a week ALONG with more intensity than people typically have and I STILL managed to not only recover before, during, and after every workout session, but I felt REFRESHED and eager to get into the gym everyday and never had such speedy recovery intra-set! Overall this product beats out many other BCAA's I've had and was truly great!

Often on these days, pump is easily less than my other days simply because the sets are lower reps but EVEN today my pump was going stronger than usual on my previous ME days!!!! Only downfall was that today was the first day I notice less of the "energetic" effect that I've become accustomed to. Still great!!!

Definitely thought about it! I go thru phases of training such as tempo work, overall increased load work, volume, etc. Plus I'm still a long way from my goals in bodybuilding AND powerlifting and kinda wanna hit them before I compete in either...who know's though!!! I may have to go check that out ;) Thanks for the heads up man! Where you based out of?

I'm in Beaver County, PA but I train in Weirton, WV. I hear what you're saying, but the best way to motivate yourself is to have a competition in mind to train for. You learn so much when you're there, too. I say fück waiting, just step up and compete and see where you're at right now. You never know what you'll do on the platform or the stage until you get up on there!

Especially the numbers you're at now, there's no reason to put off competing in powerlifting. You'd already be very competitive at pretty much any level. What do you weigh currently?
