  2. Yo SB - Lilly has a lot of rackpulls for volume in the Cube, done with a snatch grip of all things. Since it's double-overhand even chalk won't do you, so you'll have to use straps. Did em last night & really smoked my glutes, with a healthy ham & lower back stimulation. But it hits the lats harder than any deadlift variant, if you were interested.

    I don't think Lilly recommends them heavier than 6rm, usually 8 or more. Builds lockout strength.

    Snatch is an oly lift I've never performed. More of a clean guy. Snatch grip width is where I'm going with this... Basically hold arms up parallel to floor, bend elbows to 90 and that's the proper width correct? If it torches Lats I'm all aboot it.

    3 sets pull ups 3 sets snatch deads 5 sets bent over row some ez bar curls and reverse curls.

    Not in it today. Bad weather, slightly depressed over the job offer situation... Keep getting offered chump change... Not cool...

    Sorry to hear bro.. I am sure things will look up soon. With the spring weather coming there potentially might be some fresh opportunities for you. You are about an hour from Niagara and Buffalo right - anything there?

    I'll snap out of it. Just guess it's mostly the boredom of bad weather honestly. Been a long winter.

    Buffalo is economically far worse off than rochester. When I moved back a few years ago I was offered a gig with a company that made hospital electronics as a tech, troubleshoot repair etc etc. the max wage I would have ever made was 14.00 an hour. Here I've been making significantly more. Unfortunately unemployment pays better. Unfortunately if I leave rochester it'll be for another state. Ny is a big dead hole

  10. I would never move to NY. Pretty much for reasons listed. Too expensive, too little money to be made, & over-crowded in my opinion. It's not that I couldn't survive there; it's just that I'd never have a reason to choose it over anywhere else really. Too many other places to live.

  12. That's really the most important reason: family can make any place home. Why I can't really move away. I'd miss them, & I wanna be around for my parents as they age. My dad probably won't see another decade I reckon, so I don't want to have any regrets.

    Exactly. My mothers health issues make it tough to keep traveling that's why I haven't been twisting spaghetti in random cities around the country. I wouldn't miss NY for damn sure lol.

    Family is indeed important. I was glad I moved back to Ohio to spend time with my Dad before he passed. Now I have aging in-laws and a sick sister to worry about.

    Danb I'd imagine you recognize the name Charles Alsheimer? I actually got to meet him last night. Real cool dude. Didn't get the opportunity to pick his brain too much but did learn a lot about whitetail.

    Tomorrow will be legs. My training partners are driving me nuts with their availability. The one got a girlfriend the other got a job working about 70 hours a week. Back to day lifts. :-)

  21. ooook then. AGAIN was NOT feeling the lift. fortunately with out an unmotivated partner i was able to do some self motivation. the soccer mom convention at the gym really heled. something about extra testosterone, trenbolone and sexy ass sluts that gets me motivated

    started out with some quad dominant work. finished with hams/glutes.

    Front squats 3x5, 1x3. top set was a pr (dont really free weight front squat too often)

    leg press, legs mid board 8x7 1x6 then a triple drop set.

    leg extensions 2x15 both were drop setted to about 45 reps

    "SLDL" 4x5
    lying leg curl 8x8
    standing leg curl 2x15

    torched 'em pretty well. my shoulder is a bit sore from stuffing 2ml of gear in it and then putting a barbell on top of it. weird.hopefully it feels ok after today for chest and shoulders. glad i knocked my self outta that pre gym funk to really crush the iron

    Haha, too funny... I got "Notebooked" this weekend. Went to sit with my wife and she was watching the end of the notebook. I hadn't seen the end before so I am sitting there all the sudden with this lump in my throat thinking Oh Sh!t am I about to cry? I ended up laughing at myself afterwards for getting emotional. LOL then again I am a big old softy when it comes to love.
