I want to start competing in powerlifting soon even though im weak as **** right now

I've had terrible knees ever since I can remember and couple that with not being able to do squats the first few years of training at this horrible place they called a gym. I get pain squatting 135 lbs so I have to wrap up every time.
I will start logging tomorrow
