They are great for core strength and all around strength really! They are just so versitle and have so many possibilities, a really great workout tool for strength or conditioning or fat loss or whatever you want. I started with a 15lb KB to try and get the hang of the various movements, some of them are a bit tricky to get used to, so I used the 15lb one to pratice my form with it then I got this 35lb one just recently. I had the 35lb one for a couple months but havent used it as much as I would like to, in the future I would like to add it in on cardio days or end workouts with a KB circuit for fat loss. There are tons of links with instructional videos and sample programs online. I have a couple of ebooks on the kettlebook that might be usefull if your interested. I would get a small weight one at first and then just look for videos on youtube of technique and form and pratice before you jump into heavier ones.

Thanks buddy! I know the weights are super low.. hopefully soon I will be able to move some more weight around. This 5min continuous blocks really kill me. Hopefully soon I will be able to bang through the entire 5 mins without the feeling of having to hurl

I missed my workout on tuesday dut to a family emergency. I worked mon and wednesday so here is my lift from thursday.

    Workout #2

    Warm up

    1. Deadlift 3x10 @105
2a. KB side rows (with 35lb KB) x10/x9/x6
2b. Side to side push ups - x10/x6/x4
3a. Pull over with ez curl bar - @45 x10/x9
    3b. DB Hammer Curls @ 25lb DB - x10/x9
    4. Bicycle crunches 2x15
    5. Bodyweight Complex
    Jump Squats x8
    Burpees x8
    25lb dumbell swings x8
    Plank - till failure

Just about threw up again. I tried to pace myself more during the 5min blocks and wasnt able to get as much done I think. Also I feel like drinking water during working out is making me nauseous and want to throw up. I didnt hurl this time and just paced myself and breathed through it and I felt even more sick afterwards. I think if I would have actually thrown up I would have felt alot better, anyway enough of my weakness. Weight is still at 187lbs. I went out to eat this week and had some chocolate fudge cake for dessert (It was my anniversary) rest of the meal I tried to stay moderately healthy. Salmon with broccoli and roasted red potatoes and a small salad. I am gonna get the wife to snap some topless pictures (of me ) soon and will post them up so I have some sort of a starting point and can better gauge the fat loss.

Here was dinner from last night. I figuered I would share the recipe with you guys since I know eating then same thing can become so mundane sometimes and drive a man crazy.

    3. Stir in onions, mushrooms and any unused flour. Reduce
heat to medium and cook, stirring, until onion is golden brown, about 5 minutes.
    4. In small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, salt pepper, and mustard. Pour mixture into frying pan and stir.
    5. Bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer and cook about 5 minutes.

Excellent workout, great sounding/ looking recipe! As far as my injuries, I have been nursing the knee, it is getting better now probably 90-95%. My elbow is a chronic issue. I stopped working it and went to an ART specialist. He made some progress but I need to find time to go a few more sessions for the elbow. Gripping things seems to be the problem more than pressing. That is good to know because i have a pretty good back but to keep it thick and dense I need to find a way around gripping while working out. I have a few ideas I may employ. This year has been rough on me but I am keeping my head up.

My abs are a little tiny bit visible on the very top which makes me happy because I could NEVER see them before, it gives me a little motivation to keep going and try harder

My Delicious breakfeast I made this morning

    Ingredients
    • 6 Egg Whites
    • 1 Egg
    • 1/3 Green Pepper, chopped
    • 1/3 Red Pepper, chopped
    • 1/2 cup of chopped Onions
    • 1 handful of Spinach
    • 2 Lean Turkey Sausages
    • 1/3 cup of Low-Fat Mozzarella
    • 1 teaspoon of grated Light Parmesan
    • 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
    • Salt and Pepper

    Directions
    1. Cooked Turkey Sausages separately and cut in 1/2 inch pieces
    2. In medium skillet coated with 1 teaspoon of olive oil set to medium heat - cook the onion, peppers for about 5 minutes. Then add salt, pepper, spinach and turkey sausages pieces for another 30 seconds, and remove from skillet and set aside
    2. Mix egg whites and the whole egg and poor the mixture in the skillet.
    3. Wait a couple minutes until you see bubbles. Then lift a portion of the eggs with a spatula allowing the remaining liquid eggs to flow under the part you lifted. Do this in a few places around the perimeter of the omelette. Wait a couple more minutes and flip the omelette
    4. After flipping, add the mozzarella and parmesan on top of the omelette
    5. Spread the turkey and veggies mixture on one half of the omelette and fold the omelette in half. Slide onto a plate and enjoy!

I sprinkled some cayene pepperand red pepper on top for a extra kick and flavor. Enjoy
