  1. Refeed/Diet Break After Nine Months of Dieting


    I have been dieting/cutting for almost nine months now and have lost around 35-40 lbs. I have only rarely implemented a refeed day and that's usually been no more than two days. At this point would it be beneficial for me to take about two weeks to break from dieting and eat around maintenance level with higher carbs?


  2. I'd just take a week at maintenance. Deload week, you can still train but just train lightly. Less volume then you usually would. Moderate carbs don't just like pound them but get in a good ammount.

  3. Thanks masonmarin! My plan is to stick strictly to healthy, complex carbs during a refeed.

    Np, complex carbs are good, I like to eat some cherrios, greek yogurt, and a occasional frozen yogurt ice cream cone during my refeeds xD.
