    So who's taking how much d3? I'm at 4000iu daily from supplementation.

    I'm taking 2000iu-3000iu in 1000iu doses with meals containing adequate fats and protein. I've been concerned with going much higher due to calcium deposits... anyone have comments on that?

    D3 supps never did sh-t for me. Sunlight/tanning bed makes a huge difference though.

    3000 - 4000 IU per day and my D3 level is at 72 after two years ( was at 29 before supplementation). Now I don't know if by staying at the same dose will move my level higher or will stay the same. If it could go higher I need to lower the dose.

    As long as it is cholecalciferol, you should be good. You need to take it with fat, so that it will absorb better.

    That might have been my problem, I just took it with water and nothing else.

    Nothing beats the real sun, but when/if I do take it I take 5000-10000, as I work nights.
