    I think the idea is the added stabilization and the ability to flex and hold and the bottom end of the motion with less strain on the elbows, even though there is more potential strain on the shoulders

    I threw it in today in my shoulders and arms session and it works the outside of the tri really well just make sure that you keep your elbows tucked in because it will put a good deal of strain on your shoulders if you try to cheat the movement

    Good post McCrew530. I see people doing this type of exercises wrong all the time with their elbows flying all over the place. What do you guys think would complement this excise for hitting the inner triceps?

    A motion like a kickback or a cable kb would work well
