    Your muscles don't know what exercise the are doing they just know contraction. I agree completely if your muscles are contracting hard and for enough duration what more do you need?

    True. I spent some time in the "big house". We had VERY limited lifting equipment. So, there was no variation. You get in, bust ass, and get out. I gained 50lbs of mass in 3 years using the same lifts the whole time. The only variations was weight and reps changing. Thanks for the article!
