It's quality of your workout, not time spent there. I have plenty of buddy's that went to college for 6 years and don't have a degree. Fitness is the same thing.

But time in the gym is beneficial up to a point as stated. If you are trying to cut high volume/intensity/reps can go a long way. Oh and can we stop using terms like skinny fat? Were men not gossiping high school chicks...not trying to offend just saying...I've never judged another man's body...that's a very feminine thing to do

    Do you even lift?

So you're saying you look at Phil Heath or jay cutler and you don't say man I want those shoulders, arms, legs? Maybe I'm crazy but that gives me motivation

I've been out for about 6 weeks now because of an elbow injury. It's so easy to forget this lesson when you were so much stronger before hand.

I just think it funny sometime. Cause every once in awhile ill go in and run or something just to give my body something else to do and guys will lift weight for and hour and a half to two hours sometimes.

No kidding right? I see so many do that. I work out at a gym filled with more ego than muscle... Also, some old timer who constantly gives out poor advice.

Good advice. Made some of these mistakes myself to begin with. Easily done to think more is better.
