Love it. Complexes aren't just great for overall strength and conditioning- they are a sure fire way not to be bored at the gym.

Speaking of the sandbag workouts. I love when I am asked to help build or move something for friends/family because I know I am going to be picking up and pushing things all day and it's not in the gym.

Do you rest between sets and if so how much. Do I rest at the end of every set if I follow the ascending/descending pyramid?

Hey saggy try 30 sec rests between to get a good burn. If you combine at least 4 routines its a good circuit workout. Currently doing some of these routines while our gym at work is being under renovation.

It depends on your goals. Complex can be used in a HIIT routine, strength building, endurance building, etc.. It is all going to happen regardless, but you can put emphasis on one aspect.
