Your typical reverse curler may have the muscle mass and power to Olympic lift, but it takes more than 3 sets of 3 once a week to be legitimately good at the lifts. The Olympic lifts respond to efficient patterns just as well as they respond to big ass traps and huge quads.
Yeah, it doesn't matter how much Mariusz Pudzianowski lifts since it doesn't look as clean as some flyweight pressing 185 overhead 'with perfect form'. Give me a break. Get the weight from the ground to lockout; if someone can do it with sheer strength then power to them.

Isn't that what powerlifting is for; brute force to muscle up the weight? Oly lifting is a different sport which focuses on speed, precision, and technique. Olympic lifting use to have a third lift; the clean and press which was pure strength. They got rid of that in 1971.
