If I recall correctly, the powder has dextrose so it's good.

just check the label, a 32 oz has ~28 carbs and I belive most of it comes from HFCS, or just plain corn syrup. So prolly not the best option for a quick carb for post workout. Fructose takes about 2.5 to 3 times as long to digest as glucose

Sorry bout that i just checked the low-cal G2 and it said it contained sucrose and sucralose, so I was wrong. So its better than than HFCS but theres still alot better options out there.

sorry I was wrong about the HFCS. Just checekd a G2 low-cal and its sweetened with sucrose and sucralose. Its better than nothin if your wanting carbs but its still not the best option.

Plain gatorade is dextrose and sucrose and I believe dextrose is listed first on the ingredient list.

Wow!
It will be a shocker to Beginners: WHITE bread, SUGAR, POTATO.
But it is OK to eat them AFTER an INTENSE Workout bcs the body will be like a furnace; nothing will go to Stores!
I was going to skip the article; glad i didn't.
Now, after an Intense WO, I will add 2 tsp of Honey to my tea, instead of 3/4.
My questions:
1.How about a Back-off workout - which is NOT intense ? Would u change the recommendation?
2. what is a Yardstick to see if a workout is intense enough to eat as u recommend ?
3. Raisins ? Also Fast-d'g and Alkaline.
Thank you.

I keep my carbs low I only eat pre and post workout carbs. Other than that I keep my fats or green veggies high. My post workout carbs have been Grits lately and its been helping my muscles stay fuller on this low carb diet
