i really like the idea of isolation moves before the big lifts. This goes against everything that the current routine i'm trying (DC) preaches but it does make sense. Typically i have always done the big compound lifts first and then went to isolation, this makes much more sense in terms of being able to actually work and isolate those muscle groups when doing the big lifts. Stretching is a big part of DC training and i will say even this early in it not only hurts more than the actually lifts you feel awesome throughout the rest of the day and into the next.

sissy squat is a damm good quad stretch, optionally bring your self to lying back on the floor with bent at the knees with your feet under or right beside your ass. Chest and biceps get a really good stretch from a weighted fly, outstretched position. Hold it as long as possible. From hams calves are easy but triceps seem difficult to isolate in a stretch. best i have found is a Dumbbell held behind the head in a seated position.

Lift the fücking weight from the floor, or leave it on the ground. The thoughts are supposed to be daunting. The pain is meant to be tormenting.
