    Quite possibly the best most non-biased article I have read that compares and contrasts ideas of IF and more orthodox eating styles. Very good read!!

    I do this but I don't take Aminos before I train! I feel like that'll break the fast n cause me to lose fat burning benefits.. I'm torn on if I should or not.. I take my Aminos immediately after lifting (walking out of the gym with my shaker bottle drinking it)

    It depends on when you are breaking the fast. Also depending on what BCAA matrix you use some don't have any calories at all. The big thing is the protein synthesis. I usually sip on 2 scoops of recoverpro to get me from the time I wake up to my fast break at 1300 hr. If I hit AM cardio which is around 0540 I'll drink a scoop then as well. I usually work out around 1630 and have my big meal around 1800. So far this is working awesome for me.

    I use recover pro as well. Break fast usually 5-7 pm. Train around 3-4 for 2 hours

    Bcaa's have calories.I would not sip on bcaa's all day as you need a spike in leucine levels to start protein synthesis.

    Agreed, that's y I won't drink them before fasted training either.. Certainly not during.. Leanness comes first, then size for me... I wass always heavy n large as a kid n teen so now I strive to stay lean first n foremost.. I could lay off the cardio n up the carbs n go from 160 to a solid 180 in 2 weeks legit. But that's not comfortable for my frame..

    You would still be fine to have them pre-wo. Even the lean gains dude recommends it. There is some science there but im to lazy to dig it up or explain it lol.
