Well written artilcle but, for every 1 article (study) attempting to validate the deleterious effects of low carb dieting on the cardiovascular system, there are 2+ that support the converse, along with a myriad of health benefits. Additionally, the rigidity of the low carb regimen is also a key varialbe here as well. Define "low carb". Quite the blanket statement. Regardless, kudos to the author for offering up an interesting somewhat controversial piece to noodle on.
