    Time Under Tension TUT


    How often do you do TUT? Is it all part of "mixing" up the working schedule? I have read that it does create bulk comparing to doing a lot of reps.

    TUT is a method used to increase the amount of microtrauma to the muscle, therefore increasing hypertrophy. It is a style of lifting that emphasizes control throughout the lift with an emphasis on the eccentric (negative) portion of the lift. It does not have a particular rep range and can be used in conjunction with other lifting schemes.
