A couple years back a few old school powerlifters used to tell me about doing cardio to re-oxygenate your body and muscles before comps and training. They never gave me any specifics on what they did but I always wondered. Is this just regular old steady state cardio? The one did mention something about the night before aswell, relatively close to when you go to sleep. Is there a specific time in which you would reap the most from something like this? Tried to look it up online but couldn't find anything directly related to what I was looking for. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently thinking of doing 15 minutes of steady state low intensity bike close to bed time. God bless!
