There are a bunch of threads on this topic already and everyone has their preference. I'm personally going to look towards 5/3/1 and boring but big.....in like a year.

Did 531 for 12 months. Awesome gains in strength and size. However, injuries started to mount the longer I stayed on it. Eventually, you will be constantly lifting at ~90% all the time. Even those deloads did very little to stave off injury and allow healing. I had to switch to the juggernaut method which is rooted in 531 but you are lifting between 60-70% for several months before getting to higher numbers. It's like block training and periodization with 531 all in one.

I recently read an article where wendler advised 4 steps forward 2 steps back, regardless of whether you're smashing your AMRAPs

531 is a good one. I used that method for some time. Really doesn't matter which one you pick, just stick with it for a while. Personally, I would go with 5/3/1 but it's your call.

I am using Candito's 6 week now and it's pretty good as well.
