This week has been Vulgar Display of Power by Pantera. Fck that is a glorious album. Even better for lifting. You don't have to change a song through the entire album

I am a fan of anything Disturbed and Rob Bailey & The hustle standard.

But I train at Rob's public Warhouse gym and they play all kinds of awesome metal and rock and hip hop so I just listen to what's there

Downing pool dead bodies is on reserve for my heaviest set. Metallica enter sandman is a nice intro song becuase of the buildup. I like rob Bailey beast. Most of my playlist is late 90s early 2000's NY Rap. Mob deep, DMX jadakiss, styles p, big pun, fat Joe etc. MOP ante up is a definite throw in when it's time to turn it up lol.

Probably any album from Devil Driver or Lamb of God. Slipknot's first self-titled album and their newest, The Gray Chapters, are great. As I Lay Dying has some good ones:

https://youtu.be/3QzWVsexjPk

T.I.'s I'm Serious, Trap Muzik, and Urban Legend albums contain about 50% gold. He really had some drive in his songs for that stretch.

Understandable. My friends make fun and call me a psychopath. Our gym doesn't play any music either. Just silence and the banging/clanging of iron.

It's totally understandable. Although, if they are judging you for wearing construction clothes, then their opinions aren't worth worrying about. I'm sure you know that though.

And sing your own words to them!!
I was really starting to think I was the only one who listened to musical scores during my workout lol

My playlist has conventional music but I also listening to tracks from Man of Steel, Dark Knight trilogy, Interstellar...

Although my favorite cardio track lately has been Beautiful Pain by Eminem

Yep!! I have a bunch of his, but in all honesty I will tell you one of my favorites. You always hear JayZ saying hes the best rapper, no, just no. Get "Renegade" with JayZ and Eminem, the song is incredible, but Em makes Jay sound like a damn kid in a rap battle at school lunch. Serious. If you get it, let me know what you think.

G Easy - I Mean It

That second one always works for me right before that first set with the heaviest weight. I here those first few lines and just zone out. It take me from working "on the nerve" to zen.

2Pac>Eminem>Nas>WuTang (and their various solo projects)Biggie>Jay-Z>Dre>NWA (throwback lol)>*Some* lil Wayne
Nas is way better to me
Nas is ok, dre is mediocre, refuse to listen to lil wayne now since he purposely walked on the Flag I love and my great grandfather, grandfather, father and I defended! But speaking of biggie, "dead wrong" with Eminem. Killer

Only lil Wayne song on my iPod is drop the world but you're right he is a punk ass for walking on the flag, ship him and kappernick over to "Sandi Arabia" if they both want to see real "oppression."
