Did this yesterday in our class with sandbags on each shoulder. A bit over half bodyweight. It was a beast and my glutes, quads, hams are incredibly sore today. Great workout. Recommend.

Anyone done these? I see the routine mentioned around the Internet but not here.

NB: I hope you folks know who Steve Reeves is....weightlifter/bodybuilder turned actor who did a bunch of Hercules and and one Morgan the Pirate films back in the day. The pirate film was the best.

Yeah, we do it all the time in muay thai training for a warm up. Once you do it a couple times, it is easy and need to up the weight to get anything out of it. You'd be better off doing "breathing squats" in the 70-80% range.

All the time? Congrats. I am still sore. Will look up breathing squats.

Yeah, they will kick your butt. Make sure to use safety bars/pins just in case.
