Iv always been able to lift heavy and put on a damn good size of mass. But I'm in my pre contest diet getting ready for the Oklahoma Grand Prix and I can't seem to lose the belly fat around my stomach and I'm thick but can't shred it off. Is it because I'm lifting so heavy ? I do my reps at around 8-10 and my diet is to a point what do you guys think? Thanks

My maxes are:
Bench:325
Squat:425
Deadlift:515
Barbell curl: (for reps) 115
Leg press: 810

Height: 6,0
Weight: 240
Age: 16
Body fat: 18%

Has nothing to do with your lifting brother

All diet

Drop your calories 500 and keep protein high, monitor progress and adjust as needed

Lifting heavy isn't a problem. Are you losing fat anywhere else? Also, are you planning your own diet, training, and cardio or do you have a coach or at least some guidance from someone with experience? Prepping for your first show on your own can be a lot to take on, especially at 16 years old.
