I use pipe insulation from Home Depot. Does the same thing but costs like a buck. Great for forearm work, but you'll have to back off the weight when you first start using them.

Fat Gripz are good if you're just looking to make a fat handle on something.

Grip4orce grips are even more difficult. You have to grip them hard to hold them together.

I know Jay Cutler uses them a lot. Or I've seen him use them in some of his training videos.

That's really not the same but if you could find some hard rubber like that then it would work.

Good question and X2.

I wonder if a sponsor (if any sell them) would sell them at a discount say if we had 10 sets sold.
If so I'm game for 2 sets.

I own both the Fat Gripz and Grip4orce.
I don't even use them anymore.

Fat Gripz are way more fun to train with IMO.
Grip4orce just feels really awkward and unsafe.

Used my Fat Gripz more than ever yesterday and I can already tell this morning my forearms are trashed, in a good way.

I can play use mine 2-3x a week or else other lifts will fail due to forearm weakness

I have been using them on my first few sets then remove them for the final heavy sets. Definitely feel it the next day!

This is my honest opinion. Got them for Christmas. Can't believe I ever trained WITHOUT them. Forearms are bigger, I feel a stronger grip, and have actually gone up with my lifts when not using them

Last night out with the wife, walk into a little wine bar with a big window looking out to a porch with a dude playing guitar an singing. When he takes a break he comes in and says " dude what so you do for your forearms? I thought you ha cysts or something at first but then I realized they were muscles and veins."

FAT GRIPZ !!!!! F-ing love it!!

i bought a 10ft section of 1.5" black pipe. cut it to a 7ft section and 2 1.5ft sections. i know have an axle and 2 thick bar adjustable DBs. cost me 30 bucks.

and it can hold a lot of weight. i have loaded the axle with 45s up to over 800lbs while sitting on a rack. didnt bend it at all. a training partner of mine has overhead pressed it with 350lbs and then dropped it from overhead. didnt hurt it at all.

Got my Fat Gripz yesterday and it just so happens today was Bi's and Forearms. The first thing I noticed they did make curling with an Olympic Bar a little harder, the other big thing was when I curl with a straight bar I feel it big time in my brachioradialis muscle, with the Fat Gripz I felt the curls more in my bicep with a pump in my forearm. I think I am going to like these.

There's muscle in your hands as well. It's DOMS and not DOTS.
Obviously. I'm pretty sure muscles, tendons, ligaments and all, were achy after (over)using them the first time.
